This segment highlights the pre-colonial and colonial history of Louisiana and typically lasts around 35 minutes.
• Pepper Palace - Just four blocks away, the tour continues at Pepper Palace, where the Cajun influence is explored. Guests can sample a wide array of hot sauces, BBQ sauces, Buffalo Wing sauces, salsas, dry rubs, and more. Tour participants will also receive a complimentary bottle of Louisiana-style hot sauce.
• Napoleon House - The fourth stop is a seated experience at the renowned Napoleon House restaurant. Known for their distinctive Muffulettas and Pimm’s Cup cocktails, guests will enjoy these along with a delicious Chicken and Andouille Sausage Jambalaya. • Bourbon Street - The tour then proceeds past Bourbon Street, heading four blocks to Leah’s Pralines, a third-generation family-owned candy store. Guests will taste traditional pralines and their special Bacon Pecan Brittle.
• Decatur Street - The next stop is the James Beard Award-nominated Cane & Table, focusing on rustic colonial cuisine and creative rum drinks. Guests will sample fried plantains with lime crema and salsa macha, along with a classic daiquiri made with Caribbean white rum, fresh lime, and sugar.
• Jackson Square - The tour passes by the iconic Jackson Square.
