Lunch and a show - We expected a cooking demonstration with "tastings." What we got was a demonstration and a full meal with beverages. Go on an empty stomach and prepare to fill it with traditional New Orleans food, from biscuits to dessert. We did the gumbo/jambalaya/bread pudding/pralines class. Everything was delicious and Dianne, the chef, was quite entertaining.

Fun and delicious! - This was very fun and the food was delicious. A couple at our table thought they were going to be cooking so we're disappointed but as long as you know you will be watching a chef cook as he teaches you history about and how to make some dishes you'll love it. Food was delicious and chef was fun!

Well worth it! - I will never purchase pralines again!!!! Seriously, the meal alone was worth the price of the class! It was a really great experience! Our teacher, Chef Dianne was wonderful! She shared the formal recipes, while adding personal preferences and adaptations we could use. It was a practical class with amazing results! She answered all our questions and was humorous and charming! I highly recommend this class as a very worthwhile way to learn and avoid the heat! LOL!

Informative and delicious - Dianne was fun and informative about the history of the food she was making (and we were eating). The class was not too big so everyone could see and hear. We enjoyed the experience and the food portions were nice and large. Can't wait to make the recipes, which were included, when we get home!
