Sally is the best - Sally is so awesome!! You really get the experience of learning from someone who has dedicated so much of their work to understanding NOLA cemeteries and burial traditions. She was smart, funny, an absolute wealth of knowledge and had some fascinating stories. We chose her tour for this reason and we are so glad we did. Please take Sally’s tour, you won’t get these cool and intimate stories of NOLA otherwise.

The best cemetery tour in NOLA possible - Sally is beyond amazing. She has researched the stories behind the person through interviews with family members, cemetery and funeral directors as well as the archival searches. Only sign up for this tour if you want to hear the true story what is best known. Don’t sign up if you want to hear unsubstantiated lore or exaggerated stories. I would retake this tour in a heartbeat. And I will buy her books. 12 out of 10 stars.

Absolute best graveyard tour - My husband and I toured with Sally. She was incredibly knowledgeable and very informative about everything from New Orleans burial traditions to multiple people buried on the grounds and when we asked questions about various topics. I HIGHLY recommend for anyone who wants to get out of the Quarter and learn more about the history of the graveyard. We’re from Northwest Arkansas, so it was super interesting to get to understand more about the Catholic influence, symbolism, and the reasons behind why and how people are buried in a city that is below the water table. I would definitely come back again!

Absolutely Wonderful Tour- Fascinating & Informative - Our family greatly enjoyed this tour and it exceeded our expectations in every way. The guide, Sally, was wonderful and very well researched. Hearing all of the stories and learning about the history was fascinating. Even the youngest members of our group, ages 12 & 14, said it was great and kept talking about what they learned hours later. We would take this tour again in a heartbeat and encourage anyone looking at cemetery tours to choose this one— absolutely recommend!!!

St Louis Cemetery #3 revealed - Wow, Wow, Wow Easily one of the best city tours I’ve ever been on. Sally is a gem, so knowledgeable, there wasn’t a question she didn’t have an answer to. So gracious and made recommendations for further exploration in New Orleans. We actually went on to the Storyville museum and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Thank you Sally and happy New Year
