Must Do Tour - 5/5 Stars: Unforgettable Experience with Colin! (An Absolute Must-Do for First-Timers!)As a first-time visitor to New Orleans, I cannot recommend this tour enough! It was worth every single penny. We took the July 4th Garden District walking tour, and our guide, Colin, was absolutely spectacular. He was incredibly informative, sharing fascinating history and local insights that truly brought the neighborhood to life.To top it off, Colin went completely above and beyond at the end of the tour. He personally helped us figure out the RTA transit directions so we could successfully navigate our way to the Creole Queen paddlewheeler for our July 4th evening sailing. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made our holiday so special.If you are visiting NOLA for the first time, do yourself a favor and book this! Pro-tip: Do the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour on your very first day to get the perfect layout of the city and figure out what you want to see more of, then make sure to catch a walking tour with Colin. 100% recommend!

Worth the money!! - I will share this knowledge, any city you travel to that you have never been to before, take this type of tour, it gives you the layout of the city, where everything is, history, where to go, where not to go, etc. AND our tour guide was so funny and had so many great stories, it was the fastest tour of the week!!! Definitely feel like this is a must and worth the money!!

Best and Easiest way to see New Orleans at your own pace! - Great way to see all there is to see in NOLA! Guides are cheerful and full of info on New Orleans and its history. We chose the 2 day pass, since it included a tour of the St.Louis Cemetry and a walking tour of the Garden District. Both were outstanding! We were staying in the French Quarter, an easy 5 min walk to Jackson Square and Bus Stop #1. We stayed on the bus to get a feel for what was worth “hopping off and on” at first and since we felt no rush since we had a 2 day pass ( very reasonable!) we loved the views from the top deck. If we had another day in NO, we would have gone to the National WWll museum, which the guides recommended would take several hours ( of cool history and tanks) Just by itself to do it justice. Overall 5 stars! No way would we have driven the narrow streets in a rental car! Plan on a LOT of walking to see it all!

Great way to familiarize yourself and see sites. - The hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus in New Orleans turned out to be the smartest way to get my bearings in the city without wasting time or energy. The route hits all the big spots—French Quarter, Garden District, WWII Museum, riverfront—and the ability to jump off when something grabs your attention, then catch the next bus, makes it feel more like a flexible game plan than a rigid tour. The live commentary was actually useful, not filler. The guides mixed history, local gossip, and practical tips in a way that helped me decide where I wanted to return later on my own. Instead of wandering randomly or paying for a bunch of separate rideshares, I got a rolling orientation to the whole city in a few hours. If you’re new to New Orleans or only in town for a short time, this bus is a no-brainer starting point. You get the lay of the land, a crash course in the city’s story, and the freedom to explore at your own pace—all without ending the day exhausted and lost.

Ehh - The hosts are very knowledgeable and funny. My only complaint and this depends on your perspective is that they talk nonstop. I mean not a break or breath between stories/jokes. I think it’s fine to pause and let people just watch the scenery or even chat amongst themselves for two seconds.

New Orleans hop on hop off bus - Staff was great. Bus goes too fast to really see what they are trying to show you. Terrible high pitch sound coming from the bus that they could not stop. Does not come by every 25 minutes more like 45 to 60 minutes I do not recommend this activity

Terrible experience first time in New Orleans,and that tour was not a good ride - The speaker was good but the driver the guy was horrible,it was freezing on the bus he had no attempt to make us feel welcome or warmer,there was a older lady in her 80 was on there not feeling good because it was too cold and kept saying that he could not do anything about it but her myself and a few others felt the same so no this tour bus was horrible never again.
