Such a fun place ! - My husband and I had a Sunday brunch here the weekend before last. This was such a fun experience and our chef was fantastic as well. We loved the hands on approach and learning the proper techniques to cutting produce. We cooked praline bacon, shrimp and grits (this was a first for the hubby and I , wow these were fantastic) as well a a crab cake benedict. Everything we ate was so good! The hubby has already requested this be his next birthday meal !! If you are ever in New Orleans please consider checking the school out for a unique and tasty event !

Excellent Date day idea for foodies! - This was our first hands on cooking class and my only regret is not scheduling more! Its more than just a recipe. Its learning to properly cut and prepare all the ingredients and what to look and hear for in a dish as it cooks. Chef Scott was incredible and it was an honor to have him as our instructor! We enjoyed so many dishes to take home and duplicate. My cajun husband says “its the best shrimp & grits he’s ever had in his 46 years on this earth” Bonus:: we got the insider scoop on where to eat and visit like a local!

Worth the Money - My fiance and I signed up for the brunch class with Preston. He is a fantastic teacher and entertaining with his knowledge of the history of the dishes we were preparing. You must absolutely check this class out. The shrimp and grits were my favorite thing we made. My fiance loved the praline bacon and crab cake. Request Preston!

A Great Class with Great Food. - A great class! My wife and I had Chef Preston as our instructor, and he led us in the creation of a wonderful New Orleans Brunch. We made crab cakes, shrimp and grits and caramelized bacon (not sure the actual name of the bacon). All were fun to make, and turned out delicious. It was definitely the best food we ate during our visit to New Orleans. We learned a lot and I'm looking forward to trying the recipes and techniques I learned on my own on a soon-to-come weekend. Chef Preston is a great guy; very knowledgeable in his craft as a chef and an excellent teacher and story teller. Had a great time. Highly recommended.

Book it! Right now. - Basically we had a private lesson with a master chef that spoiled us rotten for an incredibly reasonable price. Connor took his time to teach us cooking basics and then whipped together a meal like no other. My husband was actually licking the plate. The addition of multiple mimosas and blasting air conditioning made for a perfect morning in Louisiana. You won’t regret or forget this experience.

Cooking class - The cook was amazing he will teach you all the tricks. And the food was great! I’m definitely going home and trying my skills for my family. And he made a list of things to do and eat around the area. Which was very helpful.

Learned so much and had a delicious Brunch! - Glad we came to this hungry! Came here with 4 friends during a trip to New Orleans. We were surprised to find it was just the 5 of us in the class with the owner, Chef Theresa. The kitchen was tastefully decorated and pretty new - sounds like it was previously an apartment that they recently renovated and moved the business to. We learned a lot, and were out of our comfort zone a little....I had never cleaned shrimp before but fortunately Theresa let me have a pair of disposable gloves (yes I wimped out) and she has a tool to use to remove the peel. We ended up eating twice, once around 11 am and again around 1 pm. Had a great time making shrimp and grits in the morning, learning to poach eggs and make crab cakes for lunch, etc. I felt very at home in the kitchen there and we never felt stupid asking lots of amateur questions. It was a great time and Theresa is a great hostess. Would recommend to anyone who wants to learn a little, socialize and enjoy a good meal. Left stuffed!
