Great start to our first visit to NOLA - The bike tour is the best way to start your trip in Nola! Chip was a fantastic guide who definitely has ‘real’ knowledge of the area and its history. The tour was relaxed with plenty of stops so never felt rushed and the bikes were in great condition. Loved trying out the cruiser bike for the first time and so comfortable. Chip provided really interesting information and history which kept us hooked. Probably one of the best tours I’ve been on. Hope to join the good tour if time allows

Bikers beware - Road riding thru the city can be rough. We are a little older and we're challenged a bit. The course was flat, but a little intimidating if you're not used to close traffic.

Extremely Disappointed - Two years ago, I did a tour with New Orleans French Quarter and Garden District Bike Tour that was exceptional. But this time, I was extremely disappointed. Our guide was named Ron, and he was one of the most oblivious guides I’ve ever seen. He was not engaging with the group and not knowledgeable about the houses in the Garden District. Although he told some good stories about Jean Lafitte and Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, he spent far too much time on the lynching of Italians in Congo Square, including much grotesque detail about how they were tortured and their bodies dismembered. He didn’t allow sufficient time to stop at many sights, and he also did a poor job of announcing some famous houses, like Sandra Bullock’s. Ron did not show much attention to traffic signs and signals. As soon as we left the starting point, he sailed right through most stop signs in the Quarter. After going through green lights, he didn’t bother to turn around to see if everyone had made it through. At one point, there were a few people who hadn’t made it through the light and weren’t even in sight. Except for me, everyone in our group was from Europe, so I asked Ron if he would speak slowly and clearly so everyone could understand him. But, only those at the front of the group could hear him. I would surely hope that this company can come up with better guides who have good interpersonal skills, and are safety conscious, and have better knowledge of the tour they are conducting.
