Great Museum - The entire museum is a gem. The layout of the galleries, the exhibits, and the artifacts are all exceptionally well presented. Your journey begins by entering a train, where you learn how similar trains transported people from small towns across the United States as they headed off to war. It’s a powerful introduction that sets the tone for the rest of the visit. Each gallery is thoughtfully designed, but the most impressive exhibits for me were Road to Tokyo and Road to Berlin. They provide an immersive and moving look at the different theaters of World War II. To top it all off, the 4D movie is absolutely a must-see. It’s an unforgettable experience .

Amazing two days at WWII Museum - Spent two days. Could’ve spent another. It was amazing. Great volunteer docent. Amazing exhibits. So many oral history accounts by people who lived through World War II. I highly recommend it.

Very cool experience! - If you are a history buff, this place is definitely not one to miss! Before you even get inside, there are plenty of things to see outside the building. And inside, you could get lost for the next few days and still not see everything! I recommend purchasing the ticket that includes the 4D movie. It was definitely worth the extra money. There are so many exhibits inside that really immerse you into the times. Right at the beginning you get on a stationary train and watch some footage and hear some audio that makes you feel like you’re one of the boys going off to war. You can get a “dog tag” on a card and follow an individual throughout their whole experience, and find out if they lived or died. One of my favorite exhibits was the Anne Frank exhibit. They had her house made up, with the infamous bookcase. You could even sit on the furniture and it made you feel like you were actually there. They also had another house made up this way, and several rooms of exhibits with actual “snow” etc, that made you feel very immersed in the places/stories. We stayed for several hours and didn’t feel like we even made a dent in the place. Give yourself a lot of time!

Wonderful Museum - It was amazing. I now know more about World War 2 than I thought possible. So much information, from movies to exhibits to planes, even tanks and jeeps. It also had closed caption for the 4D movie if you sat in certain areas, which I thought was wonderful. A wonderful museum!
