The Cemetery With Liz - Liz Reed, our guide, was very knowledgeable. Her presentation was engaging & interesting. I recommend this tour - in addition to being entertained, you’ll learn quite a bit about the history of NOLA cemeteries.

New Orleans - people and history - 5 star⭐️ - I signed up yesterday for a tour this morning after learning about the fantastic work being done by Save Our Cemeteries. I was the only one on the tour and Glenn, my tour guide, answered all of my questions during the two hour tour. Glenn is extremely knowledgeable about New Orleans history and its people, and you will learn about the Mardi Gras krews, the old racetrack, burial traditions, and much more. I have been to other smaller cemeteries in New Orleans, but this one is worth visiting because of its beauty, long history, and famous residents. There is a good amount of shade in the cemetery but do bring water and a hat/sunglasses with you. Communication was excellent. The confirmation email contains info about where to meet, and Glenn also texted me additional information the day before. I took the bus which, along with the streetcar, ends at the. Cemeteries Transit Center. The transit center is on the other side of the expressway, so getting to the cometary is a good 15 minute walk. For most people, driving or taking ride share would probably make the most sense.

not to be missed when in NOLA - just a wonderful tour! the history of NOLA is buried right there! Our guide was a hoot and we appreciated his knowledge of NOLA history particularly the history of the canal and the relationships between the business history --movers and shakers--and the graveyard

Great experience - So much to learn. Loved the knowledgable guie, the amazing stories, and hanging in the cemetary for a few hours! If you like history, this is a great way to see it in a different light.

Excellent Metairie Cemetery Tour - SOC and Preservation Resource Center are engaged in efforts to preserve the special heritage of New Orleans. The tour led by Glenn Schiro was excellent. He is a lifelong New Orleanian and has a tremendous amount of knowledge about New Orleans history and culture. Take the tour!

Leisurely and educational walking tour - This is a long, leisurely walking tour full of history and respectful anecdotes. No ghost stories or melodrama. Plan to go early in the day when the sun isn't high, although the cemetery is mostly flat you want to take advantage of as much shade as possible.

Beautiful cemetery, knowledgeable guide. - Would have preferred a smaller group. Maybe in a large golf cart instead of walking. The tour guide was lovely and knowledgeable, but sometimes hard to hear.
