Hanging with the alligators - The swap tour was a surprisingly fun filled day. The bayou is beautiful, the tour is pleasant, the tour guide (Captain Kevin) was great and the swap is filled with alligators. It was extremely informative, (our guide was a native) and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Outstanding experience 11/10 - 11/10 experience. Timely pickup and a smooth, comfortable bus ride with great New Orleans history throughout. Bus driver Cornell and boat captain Dustin both made the experience exceptional—professional, engaging, and knowledgeable. Truly a wonderful and memorable tour. Highly recommend.

Awesome company with fabulous tours and staff members!! - Cajun Encounters is superb. Ricky drove us out to the gators from the French Quarters and he also brought us back from the swamp. Ricky is very professional, great sense of humor, and an excellent driver. I can't speak enough about Ricky. For the swamp tour we had Captain Jack. I don't know how we got so lucky, but I feel we got the best Captain. Steve not only showed us the swamp, but he also told stories and jokes. It was a two hour tour seeing gators, racoons and birds. Our entire boat was sad when Captain Jack said our tour was over. None of us wanted the tour to end. We were having so much fun and learning some history along the way that the 2 hours flew by way too fast. The other staff members we encountered were just as friendly and charming as Ricky and Steve. Cajun Encounters is the only company you need if you wanna see New Orleans. They're a fantastic company and offer several tour options. I promise you'll love them as much as we did !!!

Must do trip - Pick up/drop off in New Orleans was seamless. On the boat trip Captain AAron was brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and witty. The bayou was ‘other worldly’. Great experience, recommended

Cajun Swamp Tour, beyond great! - The swamp tour with transportation is the perfect way to spend half a day when visiting New Orleans. First, the transportation was a full size bus with a bathroom, since it was about an hour ride this in itself was great. The bus driver, Amber, couldn’t have been nicer, or more informative. Upon arrival to the facility we were greeted by tour personnel that told us exactly where to go and what to do. The actual tour was amazing with our guide, Zander, who was a local wonder! Overall a great experience and well worth the cost of admission.

Just about missed my tour. - Superior service. Got my times confused 😕 on my pickup location. Was in the midst of finding some form of transit to the swamp. In the panic, the phone rang and a lady assured me if I got to an alternate pick up location all.would not be lost..WOW. Great Tour...Great day!

Bayou is a definite must see! - Easy pick up at Hotel, bus driver was awesome with his NOLA history on the way, loved the Bayou tour. The only thing I wished is that we saw more alligators. The temp was only 55 and only one alligator popped up. We did see a variety of birds, racoons, turtles, and an Eagle.
