Walking tour Garden District - The walking tour of the Graden District was excellent. James was our tour guide and met us on time at the meeting point. This was a small group which also was exceptional. The weather was good as we moved the tour from Saturday to Monday due to rain. We walked and toured the area. James provided excellent information about the city, the architecture, the types of trees, and took us to several well known houses of Nick Cage, John Goodman, Archie Manning, and Sandra Bullock. He answered all of our groups’ questions. The tour lasted about 2 hours and we walked about a mile. It was the best end to our trip with a recommendation for lunch. Highly recommend.

Nice Garden District Tour - It was a beautiful day for this Garden District tour! Our host was very personable and knowledgeable, and I really enjoyed having a smaller group. We took a relaxing stroll through the neighborhood while learning about the history and beautiful mansions, with plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos. The Garden District has such a different feel from other parts of New Orleans, so it was really nice to experience another side of the city. Overall, the tour was informative, fun, and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour and this host!

Informative for even longtime New Orleans residents - We did the small group Garden District tour with Erin on Saturday September 19th 2026. Erin was a fantastic guide & we learned so much about the history of New Orleans and the Garden District. Even my niece who graduated from Tulane and has lived in New Orleans the last 20 years learned a lot from this tour. Erin was super informative and also very friendly and charming. Our group was a few minutes late and she was very accommodating & helpful about helping us meet up with the group. (Though I recommend *not* being late—you won’t want to miss one minute of this tour!) We were in the 4pm tour and it was pretty hot so be sure to bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes & shoes. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone whether they’re new to New Orleans or have lived here a long time.

We learned so much and... - We learned so much and had a great time touring the Garden District with Yvonne. It’s a great activity to do the first day of your trip to get some broader context for New Orleans history, and add texture to all the buildings you’ll see around the city.

A great history lesson - Yvonne really made this tour. The history she presented of New Orleans was great. This was our favorite part. There are always things that appeal to different people and we especially liked hearing about the fences.

This Tours For You - We have been to New Orleans for several vacations and love to take tours, swamp, cemetery, river boats, kayaks, ghost, voodoo and the garden district. We went today on the New Orleans Small Group Garden District Walking Tour by the Lucky Beans Tour. It was a wonderful tour done by our enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide Jackie. She lives in the area and has extra insights that add to your listening enjoyment. If you want to hear everything your guide is saying, this is the tour for you. Bigger tours are definitely not better for this type of tour. Pass by the rest & book this one. You be glad you did. Ask for guide Jackie.
