Bring water, it gets hot! Breakfast was delish! - My friends and I arrived when the South was hella hot and humid. Knowing it was going to be hot, I decided a morning food tour would be the best option. Raffle hit us up the night before to tell us where to meet him, and he also shared the meeting spot that morning. Even though we were all hungover, having breakfast at Oceana hit the spot. Raffle even praised us for being early—LOL. He was very knowledgeable, and at first, I thought we’d just be tasting food, but I later learned it was a breakfast tour combined with a walking tour, which was totally fine—and thankfully, still early in the a.m. We stopped at local stores, and Raffle shared all the history with us—absolutely worth it! Overall, a great experience with a knowledgeable guide and a fun way to explore.

Great morning activity for families in Nola - My family of 4 booked the Breakfast walking tour with Raffle as our guide. He was wonderful and knowledgeable. We wished we had time to book some of the other tours he offers. The breakfast was delicious and the history of the area was interesting. We got a heck of a deal for our tickets through Groupon. Highly recommend.

Well-paced walking tour with good breakfast and EXCELLENT guide - So, I usually drag my travel companions on food tours, but both times I’ve been in The Big Easy, I’ve been with people MAYbe not so keen on eating ALL the things. Hubs and I were there for a day with my parents in tow and they can be picky eaters, but also food-obsessed in terms of wanting all 3 meals scheduled throughout the day. This tour seemed perfect, knocking out a little history in the French Quarter (with a start point just steps from our hotel) and making sure they got a good traditional (as in not very adventurous) breakfast. Got a nice confirmation text from our guide Raffle a couple of hours before the tour and then met him, no problem. I thought we’d eat first, but the tour was timed well with a little walking and talking (and even sitting, when possible, which my parents appreciated) first, then breakfast, then a little more touring. He also spoke nice and loud, which meant my dad, who is hard of hearing, actually got something out of the tour. I think we really only “toured” for 60-75 minutes, because the breakfast, which was simple, customizable, but delicious, took about 45 minutes, and Raffle didn’t join us for that portion. I think I would’ve liked it if he told us a few more stories during that time instead of leaving us to make small talk amongst ourselves, but I get that’s not for everyone. Btw, your food IS included which makes this tour a great deal, but you can upgrade with an adult beverage (my husband and I both got Bloody Marys), but that’s extra of course. Raffle is a genuine, knowledgeable, no-BS tour guide, and we all enjoyed our morning with him and the little extras along the way like the opportunity to look inside St. Louis Cathedral and Gallery Burguieres. I’d definitely be into taking any of the tours he leads and even though too many people probably take him up on reaching out for further suggestions and help, it seemed like he meant it when he offered his services beyond the tour.

Very cool experience! - The city was quiet so my husband and I ended up having a private tour with the engaging Raffle - it was really great to be led around by someone who grew up in the French Quarter & actually knew a ton of the people around! His knowledge of the city and delivery was excellent. Also breakfast was solid 💜 thank you so much for the tour!

The best tour experience - Overall, this was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide, Raffle, had the best energy ever and was extremely informative about the French Quarter. However, his sense of humor made it all the more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and our server was even better. Everyone we came into contact with on the tour was extremely kind. I definitely would rebook again if I were to ever visit NO!
