Wonderful tour - Had a wonderful waking tour with Robi. He was knowledgeable about the history and added his dramatic approach to the tour. Highly recommend it.

Fine - go with average expectations - The guide was a good storyteller and very engaging. However, despite being there 25 minutes before the start time as requested, check in took way too long and the tour started almost 15 minutes late, which just made me feel like I wasted a lot of time that could have been doing other things. They seem to love the AR aspect of the tour, which personally I feel could just be skipped. Cut 15-20 minutes off the tour and not waste time on phones would be my preference.

Disorganized and not what was advertised - The tour seemed disorganized on behalf of the vendor as they appeared to not have enough tour guides for the size of the group that was booked. It took a half hour to get everyone checked in too. The tour company should have been better prepared! Our tour guide was a good story teller, but she was not one who was used by the company frequently and missed a few of the stops that they indicated in the description and didn't take us back to the beginning and left us in the French Quarter in the middle of the block and pointed us back to Jackson Square. This was a little unnerving as we thought that we would return to where we began, and it was already dark.

Unnecessarily sensationalist and boring. Do the swamp tour instead. - Worst NOLA experience of the stay. The tour guide was difficult to listen to and the tour was exceptionally boring. After over an hour of traipsing around trying to engage I left the tour and went and got a fabulous dinner! This is a city rich in history, culture and legend. It doesn’t need the plastic vampire teeth sensationalism. Not does it need the tour guide maligning other tour companies. I feel cheated out of the chance to hear the legends and history of the city. Also, if you’re an international visitor, the AR is unlikely to work on your device.

Save your money - This tour was certainly not worth my money. First we departed 20 minutes late with 28 people (advertises a max of 17). Then the guide would walk past an alleyway, casually point it out (majority of people could not hear her without a microphone and the bustling of downtown), and ask the group to assemble in a parking lot to hear a story about the alleyway you may or may not have noticed on your walk. We did not “peak inside museums or mansions” as advertised. The worst part of all was that the guide walked us all through the French Quarter and simply ended the tour in the middle of nowhere. We were not walked back to the starting point (which was almost a mile away) at 9PM. We were expected to find our own way back. As a young female new to this city traveling alone - PLUS having just been told about the number of serial killers in New Orleans definitely did not make me feel safe going back to my hotel alone. Was very surprised and certainly disappointed.

Not recommended - Mediocre tour. Tour ends in the dark in French Quarter with no walk back to starting point which didn't feel safe if you were here by yourself which some in our group were. Went due to discount as part of a conference with coworkers. None of us would do it again. Do not recommend.

Very Disappointed - This tour was a waste of money. The tour guide over exaggerated during all of the stories, which took away from what could have been a great history lesson and a great tour of the city. Very disappointed. We ended up leaving because it was so bad.

Unbelievable waste of time and money - Unbelievable waste of time and money! Main points: -Disorganized start -Couldn't hear -Bad storytelling -Bar stop smelled like a cat litter box -AR didn't work Started with a wildly disorganized and LOOONG role call during which no excitement or atmosphere was built. They tried to split us up based on whose name they already called, then seemed confused when we didn't want to go on different tours than our friends/family (???). Our guide, Lesley, seemed kind but I get the impression this company or her manager did not set these employees up well. did not draw me in at all. She didn't have a mic and did not project her voice, so we couldn't hear unless right in front of her AND she was facing you AND the was no other noise. In NOLA. She didn't seem to know that when she turned her head away to point at something while speaking , we couldn't hear her. Storytelling was flat, like hearing about a co-workers weekend. Bad set ups, no suspense.... Nothing to draw you in. Random side points that never went anywhere. Zero attempt at dramatic emphasis. I was not drawn in at all (and I was buzzed and ready for it!). At one point we stopped in a parking lot with high walls and cars all around us, where we were told to look at some high windows that were inside a courtyard, but we couldn't see anything else but 2 windows while we hung out next to the grill of a box truck for 15 minutes listening to a meh story about a courtyard we couldn't see. Ghost stuff was mostly her telling us "there are cold spots and orbs" but didn't tell us what she meant by that or why it mattered. She kept saying she's "read a lot of books" and "these things have been documented" (which is nothing when it's "someone wrote it down"). She forgot to prompt us for the augmented reality app thing until half way through, and it didn't work well anyway. I saw it working on one person's phone for a minute. It wasn't worth the trouble. At one point, we stopped at a bar that smelled HORRIBLY of a cat litter box (like... SO BAD) and was not ready for us with only one bartender. This took so long. YIKES. I left the tour early with my friend, and at least 2 others did too.

Incredibly disappointing - This tour was incredibly disappointing, both due to the guide and the content. It was so poorly executed that we left after just 20 minutes. Initially, we were taken to a location to look around briefly, followed by standing in a noisy parking lot where honking and pedestrian traffic drowned out the guide's story. Her content was also problematic—she shared false stories about her experiences in New Orleans and frequently contradicted herself. We were very upset because we had read good reviews and this was a terrible tour.
