The tour kicks off with a journey through the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods, rich in history, art, and charming shotgun houses. A licensed tour guide will lead the way up Esplanade Ave, historically known as “Creole Millionaires Row.” Participants will ride along the oak-lined avenue, admiring the architecture, and pass through Faubourg Treme into Faubourg St. John. After a relaxing ride through City Park, there will be a well-deserved break. Riders can purchase beignets and café au lait at Cafe Du Monde.
The tour continues along Bayou Road, one of the oldest roads in the US and the reason for New Orleans’ existence. Finally, the group will pedal back through the historic French Quarter and the Marigny, taking in the sights along the way.
