We thought it would be scarier. The tour was fun and the drinks were cold. Thank you.
Very enjoyable ghost walk with a knowledgable guide. We were impressed at the end of the evening that our guide checked on each person to be sure that they had a plan to get home.
John was an excellent tour guide. He made the tour so interesting adding history and amusing anecdotes. We enjoyed it immensely .
This was such a great experience during our visit to New Orleans. John is very good at making the tour interesting and fun at the same time. Anyone can easily tell he is passionate about New Orleans and sharing that in his tours. It was one of the highlights of my trip!
Andy is very knowledgeable and of course funny. He gave a great tour and extended it when it was a crazy night in Nawlins. Thanks Andy!
Such an interesting tour and Andy was great! He really knows what he's talking about. The reason I left 4 stars is because there wasn't much pub crawling. 2 or 3 stops maybe. Would have liked to seen more bars and possibly more creepy places. I wouldn't recommend this to someone looking for a bar crawl but rather a history lesson. Either way, it was something Very fun thing to do in NOLA.
My girls friends and I had the best time on our tour with John! Knowledgable, funny and helpful at the end of the night when we wanted some good late night food. Loved all the locations!!
SO much fun! Thanks for everything John!!
Great tour guide, appreciated the advice he gave us about getting back from the final stop.
It would have been interesting to find haunted bars to experience. We enjoyed the history and the discussion on New Orleans culture. Also, a microphone would have been nice to hear you better with our large group.
Our guide, John, was awesome. He knew so much historical info, and presented it all in an engaging and entertaining way. We hope that on our next trip to NOLA, we see John again.
Very knowledgeable and funny. Would definitely take the tour again.
We had a great time, learned some history, tried a new drink and enjoyed walking around seeing the sights and hitting a few pubs. Bill was very informative, funny and super nice to us all. I would highly recommend taking this tour! Rebekah Farabaugh, Livonia Michigan
Andy was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge of new orleans history. He made it very interesting and kept the crawl moving. I would recommend him as a guide and ghost city tour!!
John was a lot of fun! Lots of stories and great drink recommendations. We loved it.
Andy was very entertaining and informative. We loved the tour!
Very enthusiastic tour guide, full of fun stories and lots of history. We were expecting it to be a little more scary than it actually was though we still enjoyed ourselves and the information we learned.
When it comes to Ghost City Tours in New Orleans, accept nothing less than John Sestak -- the man is SMOOTH & CHUNKY, like a great peanut butter! What I mean is, he mixes both historical fact and architecture with legit ghost stories. His passion for the city and its culture makes for a tremendous experience I would repeat. John provided great value for me and my group of fellow travelers.
John has great energy and really made the tour fun!
John Sestak was hilarious and very informative. I left this tour knowing SO MUCH MORE about New Orleans than I could have ever imagined learning, especially on a pub crawl. I will definitely recommend this tour to any who is thinking about coming to NOLA! Awesome job, my mom and I had an AMAZING time!
Had an excellent time on the Haunted Pub Crawl Tour - John did a great job and gave a very creative and knowledegable tour! We have been to New Orleans many times but got to see some new areas and bars we haven't been to before - especially liked the Absenthe Bar and the Sazerac cocktails at Bar Tonique - JA - St. Louis
John was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable not only about the haunted pubs but the whole history of the town and as Australians visiting for the first time it gave us a great insight plus it was fun to do, thanks John
This was my second tour with John. I enjoyed him so much I brought my family along with me for the next time.
Very knowledgeable about the city, super entertaining, and a great evening,
Had a good time and the tour was extremely informative. Great way to spend a night in New Orleans.
John was great; entertaining and clearly fun-loving as well as knowledgeable. However, 28 folks is too many people! John did a great job of keeping things moving and keeping everyone entertained, but it simply takes a while for 28 people to get drinks, go to the bathroom...etc... So there was a lot of standing-around time. Would have preferred a smaller group with the chance to visit more bars and not feel so much the 'cattle-drive' vibe. Incidentally, I'd pay more to get that smaller group experience! (and I think a lot of people would). Again, John was great and I don't think it's his call to have such a large group. He did a great job and my ONLY complaint is the large group.
We had a blast on our tour - mostly because of how great Randy was as a tour guide. He knew so much about the history of New Orleans, which you could tell was just because he loved it so much. We had some rowdy people on our tour and he was very good at keeping them from disrupting the tour without making it uncomfortable for anyone. We were also very pleased that Randy decided to add the Lalaurie Mansion onto the pub crawl tour because that was the one thing that made us think about taking a normal tour instead of a pub crawl. Would definitely recommend this tour to a friend especially if they could have Randy!!
More of a History lesson, than a scary bar tour. Would be great if you had a collaboration with the bars to give discounted drinks to the tour.
Very informational and fun! John was a great tour guide.
