Andy was a great guide and had a lot of knowledge of new orleans history. He made it very interesting and kept the crawl moving. I would recommend him as a guide and ghost city tour!!
Andy was very entertaining and informative. We loved the tour!
Very enthusiastic tour guide, full of fun stories and lots of history. We were expecting it to be a little more scary than it actually was though we still enjoyed ourselves and the information we learned.
When it comes to Ghost City Tours in New Orleans, accept nothing less than John Sestak -- the man is SMOOTH & CHUNKY, like a great peanut butter! What I mean is, he mixes both historical fact and architecture with legit ghost stories. His passion for the city and its culture makes for a tremendous experience I would repeat. John provided great value for me and my group of fellow travelers.
John has great energy and really made the tour fun!
John Sestak was hilarious and very informative. I left this tour knowing SO MUCH MORE about New Orleans than I could have ever imagined learning, especially on a pub crawl. I will definitely recommend this tour to any who is thinking about coming to NOLA! Awesome job, my mom and I had an AMAZING time!
Had an excellent time on the Haunted Pub Crawl Tour - John did a great job and gave a very creative and knowledegable tour! We have been to New Orleans many times but got to see some new areas and bars we haven't been to before - especially liked the Absenthe Bar and the Sazerac cocktails at Bar Tonique - JA - St. Louis
John was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable not only about the haunted pubs but the whole history of the town and as Australians visiting for the first time it gave us a great insight plus it was fun to do, thanks John
This was my second tour with John. I enjoyed him so much I brought my family along with me for the next time.
Very knowledgeable about the city, super entertaining, and a great evening,
Had a good time and the tour was extremely informative. Great way to spend a night in New Orleans.
John was great; entertaining and clearly fun-loving as well as knowledgeable. However, 28 folks is too many people! John did a great job of keeping things moving and keeping everyone entertained, but it simply takes a while for 28 people to get drinks, go to the bathroom...etc... So there was a lot of standing-around time. Would have preferred a smaller group with the chance to visit more bars and not feel so much the 'cattle-drive' vibe. Incidentally, I'd pay more to get that smaller group experience! (and I think a lot of people would). Again, John was great and I don't think it's his call to have such a large group. He did a great job and my ONLY complaint is the large group.
We had a blast on our tour - mostly because of how great Randy was as a tour guide. He knew so much about the history of New Orleans, which you could tell was just because he loved it so much. We had some rowdy people on our tour and he was very good at keeping them from disrupting the tour without making it uncomfortable for anyone. We were also very pleased that Randy decided to add the Lalaurie Mansion onto the pub crawl tour because that was the one thing that made us think about taking a normal tour instead of a pub crawl. Would definitely recommend this tour to a friend especially if they could have Randy!!
More of a History lesson, than a scary bar tour. Would be great if you had a collaboration with the bars to give discounted drinks to the tour.
Very informational and fun! John was a great tour guide.
John was great! He was extremely knowledgeable. Our group apprected his overall New Orleans advice as well.
John was a really great tour guide! He had a wonderful sense of humor and took us to some really cool bars that we wouldn't have known to go to!
He was great ! We had John for our last tour and we were so excitied to have him again. He's every knowledgeable !
Very informative and enjoyable, but was expecting a little more from the ghost stories.
We liked the history. Very humorous. And is a great storyteller.
John was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this amazing city! He kept everyone interested. I will definitely take another tour when I visit NOLA again!
My wife and I did the Haunted Pub Crawl with Andy. Very cool walking tour, learned quite a bit about the history and had a lot of laughs. Andy is a great guide and his pride of New Orleans adds a nice feel. It was worth it for the price.
Andy was the perfect ghost tour guide! He was very well informed about all the haunted spots in the French Quarter and an awesome story-teller! He was funny and a very pleasant person to lead us around on the crawl. My friends and I especially enjoyed being taken to the Pirate Absinthe bar because it was somewhere we would not have journeyed on our own. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this crawl to anyone that likes to drink and be told ghost stories along the way!
John was very knowledgeable about New Orleans and the places we went. We learned a lot and had a really amazing time! Definitely will recommend to anyone who is going to New Orleans!
I liked that John was very knowledgable and very patient. He really cared about making sure that everyone was present and that everyone was enjoying themselves. He had some great bar recommendations as well. I would definitely recommend this ghost tour.
Very knowledgeable, funny, and kind
Andy was a great host. We saw 2 of the Marti Gras Indians and Andy explained about them and about Super Sunday. I was a little disappointed in some of the pubs. There didn't seem to be much in the way of haunting. I did enjoy Pirates Alley and The Pirates Alley Cafe' was amazing. The demonstration of making the Absinthe drink was so cool. I think next time I will try the regular Haunted Tours.
