The tour was fantastic our tour guide and the captain of the boat were so knowledgeable about the history and current status of the area. You could feel the love and pride that both men have for New Orleans and their jobs. I'm a senior citizen and they went out of their way to make certain that I was comfortable and safe. I highly recommend the tour for anyone visiting New Orleans. I learned so much during the tour. There is so much history and beauty to experience in New Orleans. I can't wait to return and i will definitely call your company to schedule other tours. Thank you Mr.Billy for not leaving me :)

We really enjoyed this tour. It made the most of our short time in New Orleans. My friends had never been to Louisiana before so I wanted to make sure they experienced a bayou and some plantations. Oak Alley is a must for new visitors as it is what an "ideal" Southern plantation looks like. Lunch at the site was perfect. Isabelle Tours made sure that my food allergy situation was handlded. I also loved this tour because it includes Laura Plantation, and their tour is incredible. They present it in storytelling form and focus heavily on how plantation life impacted those who made it all work: the slaves. We also liked our cajun bayou boat tour. Our guide Madeleine was a chatacter and kept all of us entertained and informed. I would take this tour again. We all loved it!

We take vacations to get away from the day to day grind and enjoy ourselves; we spend large sums of money to travel to various parts of the world where we hope to learn about the local customs and lifestyles. We do this every year. This year we even invited our friends from California to join us so that they too could experience our rich Southern History. I have lived 71 years as a proud Southerner and have many years learning and living about good and bad Southern history. These wonderful Southern Plantations like the Laura Planatation have interesting stories to tell and I want to hear all of them. What we didn't expect to hear, and did not appreciate hearing, was having to listen to Liddy, our guide, give us her own personal opinions regarding slavery. I was uncomfortable listening to her opinions especially with two African American's in our group, it felt like the rest of us were being singled out and exposed for past crimes against blacks. Of course, we were perplexed as to why Liddy seemed to be making each stop through the Laura Plantation a "personal diatribe" laced with her own bitter opinion about how miserable blacks were treated in those days and in some cases continues to be treated today. Before the tour ended she stopped us to tell us that she was now speaking "off the record" (as if this was the first time) because she has recently learned that she has her own personal connection to slave history. Fighting back tears, she suggested that she would not be allowed to even give a tour like this years ago with her connection to her African heritage. Apparently she recently discovered through a search by ancestor.com or something similar that she too is a descendant of an Africa heritage and how it has effected her personally. Look, I get it, its tough when we learn new disturbing facts about ourselves but the truth is Liddy has lots of company. We expected our guide to tell us about life on the Laura Plantation from all perspectives good and bad, just not personal. Ps. Madeline was beyond fantastic and extremely knowledgable about Louisiana History. She was the best and we appreciated her stories! Douglas Hill

Billy Liberta, Madeleine Wessel to great guides, very well prepared, well versed in history and two excellent tours! Both were on time and picked us up at our B and B, dropped us back off with out any issues! They came prepared with umbrellas and raincoats...very impressed by the professionalism and clean, comfortable, and safe motorcoach too! All and all, we enjoyed our awesome tours and guides! We would tell our friends when they visited NOLA to ask for Billy or Madeleine and both tours are tops! The ladies we talked to over the phone were very personable and efficient! Everyone was professional and courteous! Thank you for making our vist to NOLA a success! Darlene and Mark Parvin, May 29 and 30, 2017
