Begin your journey from the hotel to Red Valley, passing through Cavusin to explore the renowned rock-cut churches and enjoy a 2 km hike. Next, visit Cavusin village. The original Cavusin was deserted several decades ago due to avalanches, while the present-day village is situated along the road. The old Cavusin, known for its rock-cut dwellings and stone houses, featured several hermitages. After lunch, proceed to Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon, explore the Underground City, where early Christians lived with both fear and faith. The village houses are built around nearly one hundred tunnels of the underground city, making it one of the most fascinating underground settlements in Cappadocia. Initially carved out as eight floors, four floors are open for visitors. During wartime, it could shelter about 5000 people. Today, the tunnels are still utilized as storage areas, stables, and cellars.
