Impressive tour around the Battle of the Bulge with great respect for the fighters. - Beautiful trip, without me having to arrange anything myself, an excellently organized trip with a skilled English speaking guide. Cons: move the break hour after the visit to the American cemetery, so that there is opportunity to have lunch in Bastogne. Now this wasn't until 2pm that's really too late. Furthermore, a compliment for this impressive tour. Highly recommended.

Interesting even for a layperson - Our tour guide, Martin, was a cool guy. He knew his stuff! He had lots of stories to tell, many from people who had been in the war. He knows a ton about battle strategy. The bus ride is pretty long, but at least it goes through gorgeous countryside. A stop in thr town of Bastogne would have been great.

Overall a lovely day, with one incident sullying the experience. - The trip to Bastogne was nice, the museum is well done and very informative. At Bois Jacques a vote was taken whether to have more time at Bastogne for shopping and skip the German cemetery. Initially the vote was in favour of the cemetery. Then a second vote was taken, which was in favour of skipping the cemetery. Why have it on the itinerary if it can be vetoed by a vote? I would still recommend the tour, as Martin was knowledgeable and friendly and otherwise great. But the vote left a bad taste in our mouths.

This is the best tour I found availabe at this price. - It was good but not great in my opinion. Our guide was a well published and very personable historian of the Battle, Martin King, a Scotsman. He was a good talker but a "too much talker" with a rambling narrative of stories of the Battle and his encounters with the actual participants featured in the "Band of Brothers" miniseries. We spent the most time at the Museum in Bastogne which presents a photo and placard history of the War years 1914 thru 1945 along with some displays of tanks and equipment used by both sides. I am well versed in this history having read many books on this particular era of European militarism so there was little presented that I did not know. A stop at the US Army Cemetery was a bit haunting - so many markers. We visited one battleground in Bastogne where the 101st Airborne Division (Band of Brothers) were posted and saw the remnants of the foxholes where they fought and died.

Ear plugs needed - Viator booking process was great, reminder emails were very timely. Can't fault them. The tour however....Take ear plugs! The tour guide prattled on for 6 hours about his books, his TV shows, his opinions and reviews of other writers and TV shows. The actual tour itself was ok, but the tour guide really overwhelmed the whole experience. Bus driver was great! I struggle to recommend.
