Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve - 8 am: Guests are picked up from their hotel in Kathmandu and driven to Kathmandu Domestic Airport.
Upon arrival at Biratnagar Airport, guests are met and taken on a 1-hour drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp.
1 pm: Lunch is served.
3 pm: Embark on a bird watching tour around the Saptakoshi River on foot.
7 pm: Dinner is served.

This wildlife reserve attracts a small number of wildlife enthusiasts each year, ensuring a less crowded experience. The main attractions include Wild Water Buffaloes, Blue Bulls, Gangetic Dolphins, and Golden Jackals, along with over 400 bird species. Visitors can explore the marshes on foot, as well as the inaccessible sandbanks and islands of the majestic Koshi River.

The park features an ideal combination of rivers, ponds, wetlands, and paddies, all intersected by a long, straight, and paved trail, making navigation easy. The sparse foliage also allows for excellent long-distance viewing.
