Arrival at Kathmandu Airport and Pre-trip Meeting
Kathmandu Valley - Upon arrival in Kathmandu, a representative from Shepherd Holidays Nepal will greet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. In the evening, a pre-trip meeting will be held at your hotel in Kathmandu, where you will meet your guide. This meeting includes a final briefing and preparations for the journey. Please notify us in advance if you are arriving late and unable to attend the pre-trip meeting. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Travel to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft), Trek to Ghandruk: 30 min Flight/5 - 6 hours Drive and Trek
Pokhara - After an early breakfast, you will be picked up and driven to Nayapul. Alternatively, you can choose to fly to Pokhara (at an additional cost), in which case we will drop you at the airport for your flight to Pokhara. From Pokhara airport, you will be transported to Nayapul, where the trek begins. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Trek from Ghandruk to Sinuwa: 6-7 hours Trek
Ghandruk - Start your day early with breakfast before beginning your trek. Follow the trail that descends to the Kimrung River from Ghandruk and then ascend to Chhomrong. Overnight stay in Sinuwa at a guesthouse.
Trek from Sinuwa to Deurali: 4-5 hours Trek
Sinuwa - Trek through the forested area to reach Deurali, where you will enjoy your first close-up view of the Himalayas.
Trek from Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 m): 5-6 hours Trek
Deurali - Begin your day with a gentle ascent from Bagar to the base of Fishtail Mountain, also known as “Machhapuchhre Base Camp,” at 3700 meters. From MBC, you can see Machhapuchhre along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna mountains. After spending some time there, continue your trek to Annapurna Base Camp. From the base camp, enjoy breathtaking views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, and other peaks. Relish the sunset with a 360-degree view.
Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo: 7-8 hours Trek
Annapurna Mountain Range - After admiring the sunrise view from Annapurna Base Camp, trek down to Bamboo following the same route.
Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda and to Kyumi: 5-6 hours Trek
Jhinu Danda - Depart from Bamboo for Jhinu Danda. Upon reaching Jhinu Danda, continue your trek towards Kyumi. Check-in at the lodge.
Trek from Kyumi to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara, then Fly Back to Kathmandu: 2-3 hours Trek/1 hour Drive/25 min Flight
Pokhara - Begin your day with a trek down to Nayapul and board the vehicle for Pokhara airport (if you have a ticket to fly back to Kathmandu) or to Kathmandu. You will be dropped off at your hotel and enjoy a farewell dinner hosted by Shepherd Holidays.
Farewell Day: Transfer to the International Airport or Extend the Trip
Kathmandu - Enjoy breakfast in the morning. You may choose to extend your trip or depart for home. After a few days of fun and excitement, the time to say goodbye has arrived. Our representatives will escort you to Tribhuwan International Airport according to your flight schedule.
