Absolute MUST activity for all wine and food lovers. - I was lucky to visit Venikos for wine tasting of outstanding varieties of Rose wines 2 years ago. And became devoted customer since then. Never boring, always informative/exiting/relaxed and very friendly atmosphere of all their trips, wine tasting and dinners made me to believe that quality service does exist in Greece. And thanks to Nikos and Dominic I am huge fan of greek wines now. Just the thought of Maria's dinners makes me salivate in anticipation for a next visit. Meet them once (and you will be hooked) and join a group of Greek wines aficionados.

Great wine tours in Nemea - Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic people that organize fine wine tours and tasting seminars in the region. We did the wine tasting at House Venikos that was focused on modern Greek wines and indigenous grape varieties. We learned many things about Greek wines and heard cool insider stories. After the tasting we enjoyed a bbq and it was just delicious! We can only recommend this place and the people.

The best place to stay and learn about Nemean wines - Venikos house and tasting room is a unique experience. People with very good knowledge about local wines, they organize private wine tours and wine tastings and they cook really tasted local food. Just don't forget to book your stay or your wine experience some days before your visit.

Best organized wine tour and wine tasting - We booked a wine tour with Venikos for one day. It started at the House Venikos in the center of Nemea where we were welcomed by our very friendly and knowledgeable guide. We visited 2 selected wineries, one a modern style big winery and the other a family run boutique winery. Both with excellent introductions and high quality wines. Then we visited a local organic vinegar producer where we learned all about balsamic and had a great picnic in the vineyard with local delicacies. For the evening we booked a small wine seminar with dinner. The wine tasting was held in the cozy tasting room they operate and it has even a garden with a small vineyard where we could see the Greek grape varieties. We tasted 8 wines from indigenous grape varieties and then we had an outstanding dinner together with the wines from the tasting. It was a perfect day with super friendly people and we can recommend it to everyone.
