AIRPORT – NEGOMBO

Negombo - Upon arrival by flight, guests will be transferred to the arrival terminal. A representative from Apple Vacations will be there to assist, holding a paging board with the guest’s name in the meeting area. The representative will introduce guests to their English-speaking chauffeur guide, who will transfer them to their hotel in Negombo. (Pick-up available at the airport or Colombo City)

NEGOMBO – MINNERIYA – HABARANA

Minneriya National Park - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, guests will be transferred to Habarana and check into their hotel.

In the afternoon, embark on a safari at Minneriya National Park, a prime location for observing wildlife in Sri Lanka. The park is home to over 200 elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, and even a few leopards. Opened in 2002, it is surrounded by grasslands and can be visited year-round to witness elephants and other remarkable wildlife. Discover why this is considered the best national park in Sri Lanka. Explore the largest known gathering of Asian Elephants in the world. During this time, herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen in the 8,890-hectare park within a few square kilometers of the Minneriya Reservoir. In August and September, during the dry season, wild elephants from the surrounding wilderness seek food and water, making their way to the shores of the Minneriya Reservoir adjacent to the Minneriya National Park.
