Splendid Sri Lanka! - After much research I booked a 14 day slendid adventure tour with BH Lanka. Their tour sure lived up to it's name and offered the best value for money whilst covering all the main highlights and much more. I received the full itinerary, hotel and activity details before my arrival. I was welcomed with a traditional Sri Lankan hospitality and so began my adventure. I would like to give a special thank you to my wonderful driver, Heshan. He was courteous and polite and maintained an excellent level of professionalism, ensuring I was safe and comfortable at all times. As a solo female traveller this is especially important in making a holiday a postive experience. Heshan was able to offer advice on good places to eat and shop and it was great to be able to rely on local expertise. My tour covered safari, beach days, hike up Sigiriya and visits to all the main temples and stupas. Main highlight was reaching the summit of Adams peak, a truly memorable experience. The tour company was fantastic in accommodating my needs as I had requested at very short notice to change a day in my itinerary. Sri Lanka is an amazing and beautiful country. The people are lovely and friendly and it is a trip of a lifetime!!

We had a wonderful time in beautiful Sri Lanka - We had a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka. Our driver Udara was fabulous and took us to many sights at the perfect time. We arrived at The Temple of the Tooth just at the half hour viewing when the bejeweled cask was opened and at a temple just as the monks were returning for the evening. We viewed the elephants just as they were coming in to drink, etc. He had superior knowledge and made our time in Sri Lanka very special, he was also a lot of fun and looked after us (2 ladies) and made sure we were safe from marauding monkeys.

Wonderfull Sri Lanka, - 14 days roundtrip, highlights of Sri Lanka, visting Unesco sights, wildlife parks, gardens, tea region, tempels and historic sites. Professional organised by BH Lanka, very good hotels and very pleasant and knowledegable driver Nishanta, all positief. On arrival at the airport picked up and brought to the hotel in Negombo, next day started the tour. Sigirya, ballon ride, east coast Passikudha, central Danbulla, kandy, Eliya, south Yala park, Dickwella, and back up on the west coast Galle, Beruwala, towards Colombo. Wonderfull trip, very pleasant people, full recommandation.

Amazing time on tour in Sri Lanka - We went on the two week private Grand Tour. Sri Lanka is a fantastic holiday location and this tour provides excellent value for money. Our driver/guide Udara is very knowledgeable and helpful. He has a very good understanding of the English language and even understood some of our jokes!! We were made welcome everywhere we went and never felt threatened or intimidated; unlike many other parts of the world. We had an amazing time on our tour, seeing all that Sri Lanka has to offer including temples, tea plantations, train journey, scenery, wild animals on safari and beautiful beaches.

Totally Delighful 15-day Tour of Sri Lanka - Our favorite aspect of the trip was our guide, Sidath Thilakarathne. He took a great itinerary and made it even better. Extraordinarily accommodating and went out of his way to create many fond memories of our 15-day trip. Always on time and well-organized. He also helped meet our personal requirements to stop for snacks, ATMs, etc. Sidath is a professional guide with many years of experience and it shows. Thanks, Sidath

Amazing Journey Through Sri Lanka - Note: We went to Sri Lanka May 2022 at the heat of protest and fuel shortage – and despite US Consulate recommendation to avoid Sri Lanka, we did our own investigations and decided to go and felt safer in SL during protests then we did in the US, so you should not hesitate to go. We even viewed a couple protests which were orderly and very civil. Go to SL now as it is not crowded and they really rely on tourism so service will be even better. We searched many reviews for respectable tour companies that offered both good value and quality accommodations and itineraries and found many positive reviews in Trip Advisor so we chose BH Lanka Tours. We booked a 14 day tour and Bianca constantly provided fast and thorough response to all our inquiries. We even changed from a small group tour to a private tour due to concerns of Covid. We met our tour guide Nalin who picked us up at our hotel. After the first few minutes of meeting him, we believed we were in for a good experience. Our concerns about clear English speaking, safe/clean car, good driving, and knowledge of the country were soon all relieved. Nalin spoke perfect English and BH Tour requires him to wash inside/outside of his late model sedan daily. He drove us for countless hours (without need for gps or map) and constantly communicated with us, pointing out some many things along the way to destinations. He even made several unscheduled stops so we can experience local life. He discretely informed each hotel we were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary, so we every hotel had special decorations in our room and with fruit platters and personalized cake. The itinerary was perfect and Nalin did not just drop us off at the entrance, and instead walked with us explaining far more history about various sites than others. It is clear that he truly loved his job and wanted to share the same with his guests. We started our tour with extreme fuel shortage, so before fuel was delivered to the country, he stayed in line at gas station each nite (once till 2am) to get fuel so we could continue our trip. At one point we difficulty getting fuel to the owner Hasitha and his partner drove 40km just drop off fuel, which they siphoned from their vehicle so our tour would not be interrupted. Gas prices doubled within days and they never asked us for additional surcharge. Every hotel we stayed at was top quality and we even had preferred rooms, most with views. They did not skimp on hotels even when we only slept one night! (* See our reviews of each hotel that was booked by BH Lanka Tours) Do NOT HESITATE booking with BH Lanka tours and make sure you ask for Nalin as your guide, and you will have the best experience while visiting Sri Lanka. (BTW – we are very experienced travelers and capable to figuring things out while traveling, but because Nalin took care of EVERYTHING, we just enjoyed the sites, the culture and his company.) BH Lanka Tours esp our guide Nalin far exceeded our expectations on this memorable experience and will surely contact them for future travel.

Sri Lanka - a must see destination - We have just returned from a fantastic two week tour around Sri Lanka, organised for us by BH Sri Lanka Tours. They provided excellent communication prior to the trip, with all queries answered very promptly by Bianca, which is always very reassuring when you are booking with a company you have not dealt with before. On the tour itself, nothing we too much trouble for our fantastic tour guide, Buddhika and his driver Vimal. They always went the extra mile to ensure we had a fantastic time and were great at suggesting the best way to tackle the excursions we wanted to fit in, knowing when was the better time to arrive etc. We didn't choose the top price accommodation but were satisfied with the quality of the hotels that we stayed in which all met our expectations, and were well placed for the various excursions. There is a good choice of optional excursions that can be built into the tour. Whilst we enjoyed all that we did, seeing the elephants in the wild of the national parks is an experience I will never forget, along with the opportunity to go whale spotting - simply amazing. The transportation was comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by Vimal. All in all, we felt this was a great value for money tour, and would highly recommend BH Sri Lanka Tours and their wonderful guide Buddhika.

Around Sri Lanka - Good tour with excellent guide Chinthaka. Our guide/driver was really helpful and attentive. He helped my wife find the fruits and vegetables she wanted, and went out of his way to add individual activities not in the itinerary. We would definitely recommend the guide. About the tour itself, we had booked the All island Discovery tour - a small group tour, so were surprised that only 2 of us were on tour, when at the time of booking we were told there were 3 others on the tour. If we had known it was effectively a private tour, we would have tried tailoring the itinerary. So an opportunity missed. Otherwise a good tour and good value for money.

Dishonest and unprofessional - I wanted to support a Sri Lanka based travel business for our Sri Lanka holiday as I believed they would have the best local knowledge and connections to offer us the best possible experience. After looking at many providers and reading allot of reviews I decided on BH Lanka Tours. Things started of fantastically but embittered quickly after payment was made. Below I have summarized my main issues with BH Lanka Tours • Hotels marked as 5 star on tour but was actually not • Incorrect billing several times. • Unreachable during tour, not answering calls, replying to WhatsApp messages hours later. • Reckless driving. • Tour guide such a heavy accent that we could not understand him half of the time. • No PPE, sanitizer or water offered • Not a tour but a taxi driver from one tourist trap to the next. • After 4 days of of our 14 day tour we canceled our tour. When I asked to be refunded for the remainder of the trip we were told that hotels have already been paid and we will not be able to get back the money. I contacted all the hotels and they all confirmed that they never received payment from BH Lanka. • Received a refund letter that stated that they will pay us back 500 euro (my calculation for the refund is 2500 euro), I asked for a breakdown of this but still have not received this. • Money that was to be paid back was never sent.
