This tour offers the chance to see around 75 bird species, including purple herons, cormorants, and kingfishers, as well as crocodiles, monkeys, and the elusive otters. Among the documented vertebrate species, 17 are endemic, and 26 are nationally endangered.

Anawilundawa Wetland Sanctuary - Enjoy a morning bird-watching session at the Anawilundawa bird sanctuary.
This sanctuary is a hidden gem for bird watchers, home to over 150 bird species. Additionally, 20 mammal species have been recorded here, including the Toque Monkey, five threatened species of Slender Loris, Rusty Spotted Cat, Fishing Cat, and the Indian Otter. The sanctuary also hosts 74 species of butterflies.
