Highly recommended! - Had a very nice experience! The guide of the olive oil tasting and tour clearly knew what she was talking about and told it in a very interesting way.
The wine tasting was really great! Delicious wines and tasty snacks, while also advising which snack with which wine. A really cozy taste sensation and again a super enthusiastic sommelier.

A great visit and experience - Really enjoyable visit to this olive oil factory which is now diversifying into rose wine. Our 5 wine pairing session was informative and delicious, sitting under a covered veranda surrounded by olive trees and mountains. The lady doing the wine tasting was a chemist and knew a lot about the composition and history of the local area and wine culture. The lady who then did the olive oil factory tour and tasting was great, spoke perfect English and gave a great tour of the factory. Would highly recommend as something different to do on holiday.

Highly recommended wine tasting and Olive tour - Really enjoyable few hours with my family at the Estate. Started with a tour of the Olive Oil factory in a group @ 20 people. Some had done some Olive oil tasting first (combo ticket) but our ticket was just for the tour and then the wine tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent Engish.
The wine tasting was upstairs, seated at nicely laid tables. We had 5 superb wines, with explanations and tasting notes. This was accompanied by the most delicious tapenade, cheese, nuts and sweet treats. Afterwards you had the opportunity to purchase the wine, oils, olives, gifts etc but there was no pressure to do so. I happily bought loads 😇😄. They do shipping! Highly recommended and very good value.

Highly recommended - Really great experience at Vassilakis. We did the wine tasting experience. This consisted of a quick tour of the olive oil factory, and then we were taken up stairs to a lovely space to do the tasting. We tried 5 wines and had a gorgeous platter of food to pair with the wines. Stunning!
Star of the show was Val who was friendly, knowledgeable and good humoured. When the tasting was finished she took us to the shop and gave us samples of olives, olive oil, raki, beauty products. I know they do this to sell products but it honestly didn't come across as pushy in any way. Although we did come away with some wine and oil!
They also arranged a taxi to pick us up and take us back directly to the hotel which I thought was a great service.
Can't recommend highly enough if you are in the area.

Wonderful wine, food and company - This experience was amazing, I cannot recommend it enough. The quality of the wine and the food combination was exceptional.
It has been one of the best wine tasting experiences I have been on, it had a lot of thought and consideration of how the wine and food worked together along with details of the wine, it all was really lovely. The guide expertise was excellent.
We had a wonderful group to do the tour and wine tasting with, and that really did make the experience even better!
I don't think I stopped smiling and laughing through the full experience, it really was a joy, especially as the weather outside was so bad!
It was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Crete.
This was arranged via my hotel, with the Vassilakis Estate arranging taxi's for me so I could join the Wine Tasting - this was so lovely and I really appreciate the extra effort that went in to sort this for me.
