Crazily joyful wine tasting journey - I was struggling whether I should go before, but once experienced, I did not regret. it's a very pleasant wine tasting experience and you can try all naxos specialty like olive, cheese, biscuit and mystery snack. it's true to say 'don't tell other you've visited Naxos if you did not join this journey.' I got crazy with Sophia and met a lot of new friends in this journey.

Naxos Gem - One of our best tours in Naxos! We did both wine and Citron + other treats. Sofia is a wonderful host. What a gem of a place!! We will come back when we visit Naxos again.

So fun! - So fun! Sofia was fabulous. Just a nice and interesting activity on Naxos. Be prepared to drink! Delicious snacks paired with the liquors. Also loved supporting a family business.

Amazing experience! This... - Amazing experience! This is a women and family owned, business that’s been around for 100+ years. Sofia was an amazing host/guide who truly made the tour what it was. You feel like you’re a part of the family! They were very generous with the tastings, and the snack pairings were perfect. The liquors were delicious and we actually learned a lot about citron, the distilling process, and a little bit of general facts on Naxos. So much fun for a group of friends, family, or couple. The tour is a small group so you get a very intimate experience. Highly recommend!

So fun! - This was an unforgettable experience! Sophia was an exceptional host—warm, fun, and truly unforgettable. We enjoyed generous tastings that gave us a real feel for the history and culture behind traditional Greek spirits. The distillery itself was full of charm and character. Perfect morning at a perfect place. - My review cannot compare to the visit we had with Sofia at her families distillery. It was perfect. We miss Sofia as much as we miss Naxos and have imitated her (with love) already a billion times since we have been home… “Judi… are you drunk Judi?” (Judi is my 79 year old mother) and “yai mas” anytime we have a chance. What a beautiful and magical place it is and if you are still reading this and you have not booked it yet, you need to immediately. We also got a chance to stop by the store they have downtown. We met Sofias mother who naturally is just as wonderful. I am so sad we didn’t have more room to bring more home with us. I will cherish what we did buy and will NEVER forget the tour and especially Sofia. I am looking forward to using our sipping set and making an olive and cheese and chocolate plate and remembering our fun morning with Sofia at her GORGEOUS distillery. This morning as I was unpacking our suitcases, I took our lovely soaps out that we also purchased and was sad when I smelled them. I miss Naxos!! We will never forget it. Thank you for making us feel special. Yai Mas to this magical place and people!

Friendly, fun, informative - My wife and I lived this tour — Sofia was delightful, the food and drinks were delicious. The staff were flexible and kind with us when our schedule needed to change.

A must do tour and tasting in Naxos! - Our visit to Promponas distillery was one of the highlights of our trip to Naxos. Sofia was an amazing host who taught us a ton about Kitron and her family’s multi generation business. Sofia’s energy and passion were infectious, and she did a great job making the learning about Kitron and the distilling process fun and interactive. The tasting and tour included several liqueurs, as well as local snacks that paired nicely with the tasting. The distillery is located in a beautiful area, and is easy to get to from Naxos town. Kitron is only made in Naxos, so this tour and tasting is a must do if you are visiting Naxos. I highly recommend this 10/10 experience that was a perfect way to end our trip to Naxos.

So fun!! Must do Naxos experience! - We had the best time today at Promponas Distillery with Sofia! The wine/liquor and food pairing was fantastic. Sofia was sooo much fun! We are from California wine country so believe me when I say this is a “must do” experience in Naxos!
