Best part of our trip - Best part of our trip to Greece. Jack was a wonderful host. It was less about the cooking and more about the story telling and sharing of the experiences that his homeland offers. It was humbling and a privilege to be a part of. Even better was that our fussy teenage daughters loved it too! (Especially the dancing and plate smashing afterwards!!)

Highlight of our trip! - Overall wonderful experience! We not only learned a lot but also enjoyed a delicious, fresh dinner. It gave us a deep appreciation for the farm, the work they do and the overall culture of the island.

We Can Not Stop Talking About This! - Out of our entire two week trip to Greece -- Parthenon, beaches, food, beauty, etc -- the one thing we can't stop talking to our friends about is this experience. It was simply amazing! Jack was an incredible, amazing host, kind and knowledgeable and clearly proud of what his family is doing. The cooking time was fun and communal and we learned about Greek cuisine and history and met other people and it was all around fantastic.
I know... we're tourists, it's a business, I get it. But I felt it was an honor to be part of his home and his heritage.

Great experience!! - Wonderful experience. Anna was full of information but more importantly full of joy and life. Had a great time at the property and making delicious food from what we picked on the grounds, finishing with dancing and plate breaking. Lots of Fun. Definitely recommend. Park right down at the property not at the top. Long steep walk. Do this!!!

The class was not super... - The class was not super labor intensive. While we did cut some veggies and do some fun cooking activities, the day was also filled with the instructor showing us his families farm, sharing history with us and informing us about the delicious dishes.
We was very knowledgeable and we could tell this was his passion. 10/10 recommend.

Ridiculously amazing - Run (do not walk!) to this excursion. We have traveled to many places around the world and have done literally hundreds of activities/excursions and this is at the top of our list. Anna is an amazing host who will give you an authentic and enthusiastic look into REAL Greek life. The reviews for this activity set the bar incredibly high, but our experience far surpassed even the highest expectation. Given everything that is included and the quality of the food and experience, the cost should easily be double what is charged.

12/10 recommend - We had an incredible experience! We got to tour their farm and pick vegetables that we used to for our meal, giving a real farm to table experience! After preparing the food we got a tour of the local village and learned about the history and culture of Naxos and the village. The evening concluded with dinner and dancing! Would very much recommend this to anyone, the group setting was great allowing to make new friends and Anna and her family made us all feel like family!

Tasty, fresh food in a fun atmosphere - This was a fun evening experience that our family of four with two teens enjoyed. We found it a difficult drive on a very steep single lane road to get in and out of. We heeded others warnings about Google maps leading to wrong directions and advise others to be wary about taking the first Google maps suggested turn and instead use better judgment before turning off the main road.
Once we were there, we were sat on long tables with about a dozen others. Anna was our guide, a 5th generation farmer on the land, who talked us through the history of the property and the dishes we were to make. She took us out to the garden to gather the ingredients, where we picked eggplants, beans, capsicum, zucchini’s & fresh herbs. She also showed us the 2000 year old olive trees and other parts of the farm. Once we returned we washed and prepared the vegetables, stuffing them with rice and the diced vegetable mixture. We made a tomato sauce to cook the beans and potatoes in too. While they cooked she took us to see the stream and a nearby fortress, explaining the story of the local Romeo & Juliet from some centuries ago. We drank wine and enjoyed tzatziki and bread while the food was cooking.
We sat down to a delicious vegetarian meal with the food we’d made plus a couple of extra dishes. It was all delicious and flavoursome. After dinner we danced and smashed plates! The recipes were all shared with us so we can replicate them at home!

Great! - Superb experience! We were received by Anna and her family at home for the cooking class which is accompanied by a tour of their farm and a short walk on a trail. It was very nice to learn how to cook Greek dishes, but especially to exchange with locals about their lifestyle and customs. Anna was a very warm host, and we had a great time. This was one of our favorite experiences as it was authentic and very interesting. We ended the activity with a dance and of course we broke plates! To do without hesitation:)

Great experience - Hosted on a lovely traditional farm set down in a valley this provides a great experience for an afternoon. Our group was about a dozen people. A couple of walks round the farm talking about how it all works and what they do as well as some of the local history which is great. Our host Jacob was 5th generation on the farm real adding to the richness of his talks. As alluded to in other reviews it’s not really an advanced cooking class as such you basically sous chef and they talk through making other dishes but the afternoon itself is great in a fantastic location. It’s quite difficult to get to… Apple Maps takes you to the wrong place. Once you get near zoom out and follow the map manually to the place or you’ll get stuck doing some very tricky driving as we did. All round a really fun experience.
