- Wadi El Natrun - The tour guide will collect guests from their hotel in Cairo or Giza and transport them in a modern, air-conditioned vehicle or van for a 1.5-hour drive to Wadi El-Natrun, the birthplace of Christian monasticism. Originally home to around 50 monasteries, only 4 remain today. The journey begins at Deir al-Baramus, the oldest and most secluded of the surviving monasteries. Visitors will meet Egyptian priests who will provide an introduction and detailed information about the site. The tour then continues to Deir Anba Bishoi, where the body of Anba Bishoi is still preserved.
- Deir Anba Bishoi - The tour proceeds to Deir Abu Maqar, also known as Anba Makaryus Monastery, which is currently the wealthiest monastery in Wadi El-Natrun. It houses over 100 monks and employs 600 workers on its expansive farm.
- Wadi Natrun - The trip concludes with a visit to Deir El-Suryani, the smallest and most compact of the four monasteries. After the tour, guests will be driven back to their hotel in Cairo.
