A good time in Nassau - We had a fantastic time at the distillery. We had decided to try the rum tasting tour and it was the best decision ever. We had so much fun learning about the entire distilling process while enjoying the tasting of all the varieties of rum. Our host, Tim, was fun and engaging and a fountain of knowledge. After the tasting session we went on a tour of the facility. Our tour guide Enrique, gave us a tour full of fun facts and trivia. Be sure to pay attention because at the end of the tour he gave us a surprise pop quiz about everything he had just shown us. Once the tours are done you can relax with a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Overall a wonderful experience!!

Great experience - We had such a great experience with the tour and tasting and after that experience I taste rum completely different now. Great people working there and it was definitely worth the price and for the amount of time you get.

An entertaining free tour - We weren't sure if we'd make it to the Watling distillery for a tour before closing time, but fortunately they were still open. We were welcomed with samples of a delicious creamy rum-based drink. Our tour guide's name was Vano. He is very knowledgable about Bahamas history and has a great sense of humour. The tour was short, but despite being almost 5 pm, we didn't feel rushed, and Vano answered all our questions. He also showed us the grounds and the shop, and told us about the 'Casino Royale' scene that was filmed there. I only wish I had more cash on me at the time to give him a bigger tip (in fact, we'd been looking for an ATM while walking towards the distillery but wanted to make sure we'd get there before closing time). Highly recommended.

Great Experience - I had a great experience! I was there Feb 2nd for my birthday with my sister. We were late and Tim and Iesha were still able to accommodate us! We had a great time! Definitely recommend.

Excellent Rum Tasting Experience - This intimate private rum tasting experience, gives you a lesson on the manufacturing process as well as how to properly taste rum. The guided experience takes you through the JWD rums in such a way that you can uniquely experience each type of rum in its pure from. If you are a light drinker I highly recommend eating before the experience.

An Incredible Rum Experience — A Must in Nassau! - I had an absolutely fantastic time!
From the moment we arrived at the historic estate, the team did an amazing job making us feel welcome. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about Bahamian heritage and the craft of rum-making.
The tasting itself was outstanding. Six beautifully distinct rums, each with its own flavor profile and story. We loved comparing notes and learning how everything from hand cut molasses to aging in bourbon barrels affects the final taste. The best part was stepping into the cellar, where we got to see firsthand where the magic really happens. You could feel the history and craftsmanship in the room!
Highly recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike.

Who knew learning about rum would be so fun! - The rum tasting experience was definitely one to remember. There was in depth knowledge about the rum making process and I also got to taste an exclusive rum straight from the barrel. Iesha- who guided me through the tasting made it very easy to understand the difference between each rum and had so many fun facts. I especially loved the sweet treat that was provided .I can’t wait to return and try their mixology experience.
