A Pirate's Life For Me! - As a former Tour Guide myself, I highly recommend this tour! Book it in ADVANCE! It can sell out fast. This is so much more in-depth and interesting than a lot of what is offered off the cruise ships in Nassau, and gives you a chance to really explore Nassau and its rich history with the Golden Age of Piracy. We had Captain Silversands! She was amazing! She was knowledgeable, charming, funny, and a lot of fun to hang out with for a few hours. I sent her some notes before hand on what we were interested in and she definitely read them. And boy did she take us all over! We started in Parliament Square in the (doors-off) jeep and then went to the Queen's Staircase and got to hike up and down, explore, and take photos. From there we went to Greycliff Chocolate Factory and got free samples (but also bought some VERY rich and delicious candies). We also got to see how they make their cigars at the Greycliff Cigar Factory and even bought a few for a friend! We had some free wine samples at the Bahama Barrels across the street as well. Next was Fort Charlotte as Fort Fincastle was closed due to being under renovation (as of March 31st, 2026). Captain Silversands gave us a rich tour of the fort's history leading us all over and deep inside the historic property. Then it was off to the Island Caves, which you can walk down inside of to see the wild fruit bats flying around. We also got to get pictures at the gorgeous beach across the street! Thank you! After that we went to John Watling's Distillery and saw how they make and package their rum and even got to buy a tasting afterward. On our way back downtown Captain Silversands pointed out the Fish Fry which smelled good and looked great, but we wanted time to be dropped off the Pirates of Nassau Museum, which she did! We wound up getting Conch Fritters at Pirate Republic Brewing Company & Taproom right downtown and boy were they good! (I also recommend the Museum, which is not part of the tour). All along the tour Captain Silversands gave us rich, detailed history about the Golden Age of Piracy talking about characters like Captain Blackbeard, Woods Rogers, and Anne Bonny and Mary Read. She also talked a lot about her personal experiences on the island and what local life is like. I highly recommend. It felt like having a friend give us a personal tour of her home.

Bahama, Jeep adventures great way to see Nassau - Great tour, but expensive, Captain Sole was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about Nassau. We saw a lot of very historical sites, as well as the rum factory, cigar rolling, tea house, queen staircase, bat cave and many other stops. We never felt hurrried, and he did a great job and made us feel very relaxed and safe.

Great tour! - Captain Yellowtail was great! He picked us up at our resort dressed as a pirate and stayed in character the entire tour. He shared interesting history with us about the island. We went in a cave, visited Tasty Teas, tasted local rum, moonshine, chocolate and rum cake. He provided a variety of options to make the tour memorable for us. Highly recommend!

Great tour of Nassau - We took a pirate ride with Captain Yellowtail. He was very good and let us choose our own adventures as opposed to sticking to a strict schedule. Though the traffic was busy that day and we didn’t quite get in all of our stops, we still saw quite a bit and Captain Yellowtail was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Fun and Informative - We had a great time with Captain Yellow Tale. He picked us up for a 10:00 Jeep tour at our resort in Big Blue on Wednesday Jan 7, 2026. He was very informative and kind. We seen places and learned more than any other Nassau tour that we have been on

Captain Yellowtail and Pirate Story - Captain Yellowtail was our tour guide and he did an amazing job telling us the history and keeping us entertained. He also told us a pirate story during the drive, keeping us wanting to know what happens next. We had a rental car and could have easily toured all the spots but just the experience of the Pirate Jeep Tour and Captain Yellowtail was worth every penny.

History and mostly shopping unnecesarry things. - It was mostly a shopping tour pretty interesting but not really useful for American people. Pirates Captain "Dark Chocolate" was really helpful and resourceful. Other than that... we were not really pleased of what we saw. I wouldn't reccomend it.

Disappointing - Our tour guide was good, but the majority of the stops were less about history and more tourist traps than anything. The chocolate “factory” is actually just a shop that sells chocolate, same with the winery. The distillery with the stop for lunch was okay, but I missed the quick tour since my kids were hungry by this point and we had to choose between ordering food or doing the tour. For as much as we paid (close to $800) it was disappointing that there wasn’t anything else included except for bottled water. I would have much rather taken a taxi to the Queen’s steps and the beach, and left with several hundred more dollars to spare.
