Our guide Kim was awesome!!!! Very upbeat and knowledgeable. I also have a new favorite Jack!! Single barrel select
The tour was great! Easy ride to Lynchburg. Very knowledgeable tour guide and lots of times to explore the little town and eat some great Bar-b-que!
I would have been more fully satisfied if i was allowed more time to sit and taste the whiskey on the angel tour, it seemed very rushed by the time we got there and so hard to enjoy the moment. The walk through tour was a little slow which ate into our tasting time. the guide was nice and did well
Frank was great but the other guy kept saying how there was nothing in Lynchburg, how nobody ever returns for another tour. Very discouraging way to start your tour
We had a great time at the Jack n' Back tour. Easy to get there from Nashville and the bus driver was very friendly, along with Chip.
The tour was great. Chip and Frank gave really good tips and suggestions. The bus was clean and we left on time. I would definitely book again.
It was fine
It was a great bus Ride with Chip, who kept us on our schedule, and was very informative. The tour through Jack Daniels gave us a lot of history and taught us the process on how they make their whiskey, Jennifer was our guide, she was knowledgeable and very Entertaining. And of course the taste testing, Great. The whole tour was from 9am to 4pm and the time went by in a flash, we were always doing something. I'd definitely recommend this tour and we would go back.
The Jack Daniels tour was great. Very informative. The bus ride however wasn't so great. Some seats had a lot more leg room than others as if they tried to squeeze as many seats into the bus as possible. The AC wasn't working on the return trip which made the 1.5 hr trip back miserable.
Great service, great tour
Wasn't thrilled listening to bubble gum country music and was told the channel could not be changed. Most passengers were over 50. Also...freezing on the drive up and roasting on the drive back. Asked about heat up and air back and was told they were running.
Enjoyed the history review on the bus and the friendly staff (bus driver, tour guide Jed at Jack Daniel's). The tour was great and we enjoyed the tastings - they still pulled everything together despite the recent flooding issues they had.
Of course, we wish there was a bit more tastings! But Mike, our tour guide, was awesome. Funny, knowledgeable and killer accent.
The bus was very comfortable and clean. Our driver was extremely nice. The only thing that we were disappointed about was that we arrived at Jack Daniels at 11am. Our tour wasn't until 12:30pm, so we had to sit around for 1.5 hrs. Once we were done with the tour we only had a half hour to tour Lynchburg. I wish that there wasn't so much wasted time in the beginning.
Ryan was a great guide!
The tour itself was FANTASTIC. Our disappointment was due to the fact that we were placed in the 2nd tour grouping (12:15 vs. 11:15) , and when we went to the town square, NOTHING was open. We wanted to shop the general store and wasn't able to, because after our 12:15 tour, we had about 15 minutes before we had to get back on the bus.
I feel like the bus could have been a cleaner on the inside. Also it would be nice to have more speakers in the back of the bus for others to hear the music on the way down.
I think my wife & I should have been informed that all but one diner in the town square would be open on New Years Eve giving us time to make alternative meal arrangements .
This was a good tour, but I would have liked if there was a tour guide on the bus with us. As it is, the guide gets on the bus for 10 minutes before you leave, gives a bit of history and some useful lunch tips, but then it is just a bus driver (who was a great character) ferrying you to the distillery. You go in with the rest of your tour companions, (the distillery tour itself is excellent), and then you get about an hour to roam the town square before getting back on the bus. I liked that it was not too early of a start in the morning, and you get back late afternoon so there is time to go out at night, and the bus was clean and comfortable to ride in. Overall, a great tour but it would be nice to have a guide accompany you on the road, or maybe the bus driver could give commentary along the way instead!
Loved this tour the only thing was I wish there was a little more time after the tour to go to the shops.
I originally thought the tour was run by Jack Daniels. Not a big issue. The tour was very informative and truly enjoyable nonetheless. The bus ride to Lynchburg was a little uncomfortable due to the lack of A/C on the bus. It was hot. Overall it was a very nice experience and I recommend the Jack n' Back tour.
Not enough of time to walk around and have lunch in town.
The tour was great - but the bus and bus ride was not
Would like to see Nearest Green’s picture on the wall in the original office with rest of the Master Distillers of the company. He was the first of them all but not On the wall. Somewhat disappointed in that Oversight.
Bus could have had a bit more leg room.
Loved the tour, however we could not hear anything the tour guide was saying at many points in the tour. Bits and pieces. Woukd help if you had a headset and some speakers around, so we all could hear what was being said.
Everything - was great EXCEPT for the Bus itself. We were assured that the bus was luxury and we wouldn't be disappointed but I can tell you that we were. Very very small seats with absolutely no leg room. I am just over 6' tall and the leg room was abominable. Very uncomfortable, but otherwise the tour was well organized and we loved the Jack Daniels distillery... I doubt I will ever take that bus ride again- it was that bad. Still a 4 star rating because of the convenience and organization but beware of the bus. You'd do yourself a huge favor by taking out 1 row on each side of the bus and giving folks leg room on an hour and 45 minute bus ride.
Bus was WAY too hot on the return trip. Uncomfortable.
Wish there was more time available in Lynchburg. The time seemed rushed to check out the town, eat lunch and then the tour. Would definitely take the tour again but next time would drive myself so I could spend more time in Lynchburg

Loved the tour - would be giving "5 stars" if we would have been able to take a "bathroom break" or could have used the facilities on the bus. Other than that, Everything was fantastic - Great tour, Great Driver Great Time!!
very fun trip and great service- just wish there was a bathroom working on the bus!
Great trip, frank was awesome! Took the birthday boy out for lunch. Bring beers for sure. Couple buds were squires and missed out on some of the extras because of the time line. Hindsight’s, should’ve seen it earlier or not so rushed on the pick up times.
guide was very informative and I saw actual production and not staged
