Fun - It was a great tour. The gentleman the lead the tour was quite knowledgeable. We enjoyed ourselves......maybe a little too much LOL!

Blending bourbon class! - What an awesome time, we have been on many bourbon tours, but this one was special, it was so fun to blend our own bourbon, we did two, I did the red corn and the wife did the white corn. Jim our guide was very helpful and in the end we spent 2 hours tasting, smelling, and blending until we came up with our favorite! Then they blend and bottle your pick in a custom bottle! What a great time! You have to do this!

Pleasant tour and good introduction to their distillery - I enjoyed the tour, but it is important to note that this is not an active distillery -- they only distill here once per quarter, to retain their license as a distillery. The big distillery is located 1.5 hours south of Nashville. That being said, the tour was quite good, and they offer samples of several of their vodkas as well as several of their whiskys (both bourbon and Tennessee whiskey).

Big Machine store front, bar and historical tour - We enjoyed the tour but we didn’t realize until we arrived that this location is not where everything is brewed. This location is a retail/bar with a brewer set up for a visual. They do brew there once a quarter to meet guidelines. The tank and set up is beautiful. The tour and history was interesting and fun to hear. The guide did a great explanation of the process. The tasting was fun too. It’s an easy tour if you’re staying downtown without transportation to go out to the full brewing location. I would recommend.

Parking nightmare! Parking directions lacking! - I missed my tour due to parking issues. Maps said that there was parking in a parking garage and that they validated parking. There were no instructions on where the parking garage was located. We went 1 hour early to allow time to find the parking garage and visit the gift shop. Found the location and started looking for the parking garage. The garage nearest said that they did not take validation for Big Machine and they sent us around the block to a different garage, that garage had no people to ask about validation. While circling the block & navigating downtown traffic, I called Big Machine and got a directory. Dialed 1 for answers to questions & got a person @ a different location who did not know the answer to my question, but gave me the number to the 2nd Ave location. It was the same # I had called in the first place. I pressed 3 from the directory for distillery tours and it took me back to the directory. Tried choosing 1 again and nobody would answer. The parking garage that did not take validation from Big Machine had a $35 flat rate for parking, almost twice the cost of the tour, which we missed trying to contact someone about where to park. It was supposed to be the highlight of my trip, so very disappointing!
