Beautiful day - Communication from tour company was professional and organised. Driver was on time and car was clean and very comfortable. Unknowingly we booked tour on the culture day holiday in tokyo which meant a visit to mt fuji on this particular day was popular with locals as well. This is a 10 hour tour which includes travel time. Meaning because of the traffic delays our time at mt fuji and surrounds was therefore limited at no fault of the company or guide. Adnan did a great job navigating us to see the sights within the time frame given. We were very lucky we had a beautiful, clear day at mt fuji and were able to capture some great photos of the cone. There were many hours in the car to and from. Adnan, our driver and guide, was very friendly and had lots of good conversation and laughs. Even though it was a long day - we thoroughly enjoyed our tour and recommend Adnan who made the long day pleasurable.

All the way up - We had an incredible Mt. Fuji day tour with Adnan as our guide, and we can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Tokyo, Adnan made the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and unforgettable. He took us to the iconic 5th Station and several beautiful spots around the mountain, sharing fascinating insights along the way. Adnan was incredibly patient with our group of eight, never once did we feel rushed. He was warm, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. His calm and friendly nature made the day feel relaxed and fun from start to finish. If you’re planning a Mt. Fuji tour, don’t think twice, Adnan is the guide you want. Highly, highly recommended

Customisable Mount Fuji tour - The entire tour was so beautiful, especially our driver Sam was very friendly and took us to the most eye catching spots around mount fuji from where the mount Fuji view was amazing. He managed the timing so well that we were able to cover up almost all the popular places. He even recommended us popular dishes to try from there. And their service was top notch, the driver always cared for our needs as we had a baby with us too.

The Texans - Make sure to check weather. Bring cash. Bring a handheld fan and an umbrella. And more importantly, pack bottles of water.

Favorite day drip out of Tokyo - I am going to start with the slightly awkward bit. When I first tried to schedule the tour, a Bangladeshi country code phone number reached out to me to talk through the choices on the customizable tour. I was pretty disappointed. I wanted someone, who lived in Japan, who had experienced these places, and knew the best time of day to see each place, knew which places would have flowers blooming that month, which vendors had delicious food or great products, and other local specific insights. How could anyone have local insights from 4800 km away? I almost abandoned the reservation. I am so glad I didn't. The tour guide, Sam, was amazing. I submitted my intended itinerary and he completely changed the order of visits the morning of the tour. Mt Fuji is notoriously shy in June (The previous year, only 4 days were good to see Fuji in June). Sam understood the weather conditions and that we might have a chance to see Fuji so he recommended a completely different itinerary schedule. This was the local expertise that I was hoping for. He had recommendations for each place. To wait to buy ice cream until we visited Oishi Park. Specific spots to take photos, pointing out little spots along the drive to make sure that we were paying attention. To get the fantastic fresh ginger tea drink on the way up the stairs to the pagoda. Sam was an absolute treasure and made the trip worth it. And due to his expertise, we actually go to see Fuji on the trip. It was raining all morning; we thought we had no hope but Sam knew better. What an incredible trip. The Hakone ropeway was fantastic. Even in the rain, the experience coming across the sulfur vents in the Owakudani Valley was incredible. Iyashi-no-Sato Village was beautiful. This was an incredible experience.

Disappointed - Our driver picked us up at our Fuji area hotel at 10:00 am with a drop off time of 3:00 pm. We agreed to the following itinerary. Suggested Itinerary (A) 10AM Pick up from Fuji area Hakone Ropeway Owakudani valley Lake Ashi + Cruise Hakone Shrine 15:00 drop off is in Fuji area It took about two hours to drive to the Ropeway with a quick stop for gas along the way. I expect drivers to be better prepared! This only gave us about 1 hour 20 minutes to buy tickets and experience the Ropeway. There was not enough time for the Lake Ashi and Cruise. We had to insist on seeing Hakone Shrine as Sam was adamant that it would take too long and we should just take a walk by the lake for 20 minutes instead. While Sam was a good driver, he is not a tour guide and only offered information if we had a question. When I asked if he usually worked alone or with a guide, he said that we would have had to request a guide ahead of time. The tour information states that pick up in Fuji area is between 9:30 and 10:00 and drop off is between 3:00 and 4:00. If the tour begins at the latest time, one should not expect it to end at the earliest time. We also questioned why the toll roads weren’t taken. Google Maps said that it would have saved up to 20 minutes each way. This tour over promised what was possible in the amount of time available.
