As soon as I touched down in Nairobi, I was greeted with the warmest of welcomes by Imraan and Shifana from Best Camping Tours & Safaris. He swiftly arranged an early morning safari to ensure we didn’t miss a moment of the magic. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his kindness shone through when he took us to a local shop to purchase Kenyan flour for chapati—a delightful gesture that added a personal touch to the trip.

The journey continued to Lake Nakuru, where the sight of flamingos painting the lake pink was nothing short of breathtaking. The vibrant birdlife and the serene landscape provided a perfect backdrop for reflection and appreciation of nature’s wonders. Our final destination, Amboseli National Park, offered a stunning view of Mount Kilimanjaro and a chance to witness elephants roaming freely against this iconic backdrop. The experience was a poignant reminder of the importance of conservation and sustainable travel, values that I hold dear in my work and adventures.
