Masai Mara National Reserve - Gather at our Nairobi offices at 7:30 am. Depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, the northern extension of the Serengeti, renowned as one of Kenya’s premier wildlife viewing destinations. The reserve spans 700 square miles of breathtaking wilderness, embodying the quintessential African landscape with its vast acacia-dotted grasslands and misty hills. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp, followed by an evening game drive to witness the sunset and hopefully spot large prides of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and numerous other plains animals. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Lenchada Tented Camp.
Masai Mara Full Day Game Drive
Masai Mara National Reserve - Spend the entire day exploring the Maasai Mara in pursuit of the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the Reserve as you admire the Mara’s beauty along the banks of the Mara River. The Mara is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events: the great migration. This annual migration sees millions of wildebeest and zebras journeying from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture, closely followed by the savanna’s predators – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and vultures. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, there is an option to visit a local Maasai village for a cultural tour at USD 20 per person. Discover the Maasai community and engage with the local Maasai people. After checking out of your camp, depart for Lake Nakuru, with an optional boat ride at Lake Naivasha en route, and enjoy lunch along the way. Arrive in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at Buraha Zenoni Resort.
