Journey to Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - The adventure begins early in the morning with a drive to Masai Mara. En route to the reserve, the journey will take you through the Rift Valley escarpment, offering opportunities for photography and enjoying the breathtaking views. Upon arrival at the lodge, check-in will be followed by lunch. Later, a game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve will provide the chance to spot wildlife, including the Big Five: elephants, buffalos, lions, leopards, and rhinos. As the sun sets, the guide will drive back to the hotel/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Hot Air Balloon Safari and Evening Game Drive

Masai Mara National Reserve - On the second day, the morning starts early in preparation for a hot air balloon safari. The guide will drive to the departure point where the balloons are inflated. This experience offers an aerial view of the savannah plains of Masai Mara National Reserve. From the balloon, attractions such as river meanders, kopjes, and various wildlife like zebras, wildebeests, antelopes, lions, leopards, buffalos, cheetahs, kudus, hartebeests, and waterbucks can be seen. After landing, a delightful breakfast in the wild will be shared. The return to the hotel for lunch follows. In the evening, another game drive will provide a closer encounter with the Mara wilderness, enjoying the sunset and surrounding scenery. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp after the evening game drive.

Departure

Masai Mara National Reserve - The day begins with breakfast before checking out of the lodge in Masai Mara National Reserve. A morning game drive will offer views of various wildlife and bird species on the way to the exit. A stop in Narok town will provide a brief cultural experience with the Masai people, showcasing their traditional and nomadic lifestyle, local arts and crafts, and traditional dance performances. The guide will then drive back to Nairobi, dropping off at a preferred location, marking the end of the safari.
