Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve - The Driver-Guide will arrive at the hotel to commence the safari to Masai Mara, departing between 7:30 am and 8:00 am for a scenic journey down the Great Rift Valley towards Maasai Mara, Kenya’s renowned game reserve. (Travel time is approximately 5.5 hours). The journey will be in a private safari vehicle. There will be a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the breathtaking views of the world’s largest valley, which is said to be visible from space. Arrival at Masai Mara is scheduled for lunch at the camp. The afternoon game drive at 3:30 pm offers the opportunity to observe the park’s stunning wildlife, including the Big Cats such as Lions, Leopards, and Cheetahs, as well as Rhinos, Elephants, and Wildebeests. Return to the hotel/camp in the late evening for dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve - An early morning wake-up is planned for preparation and an early morning game drive to encounter the Big Five animals. A picnic lunch will be carried to enjoy at the Mara River, where resident Hippos and Nile crocodiles can be seen on the riverbanks all year round. Few places boast a higher concentration of wildlife than the Masai Mara, and sightings of four of the Big Five are almost guaranteed on any trip. Later in the evening, a short game drive will be taken as the group returns to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - After a leisurely breakfast and check-out, the return road transfer to Nairobi will commence, with a shortened morning game drive en route. There will be opportunities for an optional Hot Air Balloon Experience and a visit to a Masai Village. A stopover for lunch (at personal expense) will be made as the journey approaches Nairobi City for drop-offs.
