We had the best trip ever. Our guide was brilliant - Weve just had the best three day trip with Jocky Tours to the Masai Mara Our guide, Wycliffe, was brilliant. He was knowledgeable on every animal we saw, good humoured and ensured we got to where we needed to be quickly and safely. The accommodation was great. It was basic, which we were expecting and reflected in the price, but was clean and the staff were so lovely. Would definitely recommend

Unique expirience - The safari Easy very exciting, an authentic Adventure, seeing those places and the animals that live thereup close. We had a problem with a companionwho wasn't feeling well, and we were helped by the driver, Robert Kiambati, Who was very helpful and attentive.

The best of the best - We had an absolutely outstanding safari experience in the Maasai Mara thanks to our guide, David Mukami. From the very first moment, it was clear that we were in the hands of a true professional who genuinely loves what he does. David’s knowledge of the park, the wildlife and animal behaviour is extraordinary. He doesn’t just “spot animals” – he explains what is happening, why animals behave in a certain way, and how the ecosystem works. Every game drive felt like a real discovery, not just a tour. What really sets David apart is his ability to anticipate wildlife movements. Many times he positioned the vehicle perfectly before something special happened – a hunt, animals crossing, dramatic interactions between species. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife and had some truly rare and unforgettable moments. He is also an excellent driver – calm, safe and very respectful of both the animals and other vehicles. Even on long days in the park, everything felt smooth and well organised. He always made sure we were comfortable, had enough time to take photos, and never rushed us. On a personal level, David is kind, warm, patient and extremely easy to be around. He has a great sense of humour and creates a relaxed, friendly atmosphere in the vehicle. He was always happy to answer our many questions and clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge with visitors. If you are coming to the Maasai Mara and want a guide who is: deeply experienced, highly skilled at tracking wildlife, respectful of nature, and genuinely passionate about giving you the best possible safari, then David Mukami is the guide you want. This safari exceeded all expectations, and a huge part of that is thanks to David. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend him to anyone visiting the Maasai Mara. He truly made our trip special and unforgettable.

Great first safari experience! We got a great taste of nature at its best! - Andrew was simply the best! He explained everything clearly at all times and went the extra mile to ensure we got the most out of this experience. The animal sightings were spectacular, and much of the credit goes to Andrew, who always made an effort to secure the best viewing spots for us. We also loved the camp and the overall experience. We discovered a huge range of natural secrets, we saw the most captivating moments of wild animals’ natural habitat, and believe me, nothing would have been like that without Andrew’s guidance and willingness. From the very beginning, the service was excellent. I was picked up from my home and dropped off at the end of the trip, which made the entire journey smooth and stress-free. Throughout the three days, the level of attention and care was consistently outstanding. Our two guides, both named James, were exceptional—professional, attentive, and always focused on ensuring our comfort and safety while sharing their extensive knowledge of the Masai Mara. Their dedication greatly enhanced the overall experience. In terms of organization, everything was handled flawlessly. Transportation, schedules, and logistics were perfectly managed, and there was nothing left to improve. Jocky Tours and Safaris is without doubt an operator I would strongly recommend to anyone planning to visit the Masai Mara.

A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE FOR OUR THREE GUESTS - A Nightmare Experience for our three travellers. I am writing this with a very heavy heart and let every traveler and tour operator know what Jocky Tours did to us and our 3 guests for a group joining trip to Masai Mara. As the Managing Director of Royal Star Expeditions Ltd, I have dealt with many B2B partners, but I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism, basic courtesy, or competence in the entire Kenyan tourism industry. Dealing with Minneh at Jocky Tours was an absolute nightmare. Our ordeal began with a booking for three guests to the Masai Mara on 20th January 2026. From the start, it was a battle. Despite our constant requests for a simple itinerary and pickup details to give our guests peace of mind, Minneh and her team completely ignored us. We were left in the dark, unable to answer even the most basic questions like game drive timings and pick up location for our clients. The logistical failures were shocking: Zero Communication: I requested driver details days in advance. On the 17th January 2026. They finally sent them at 9:38 PM on 19th January 2026, the night before the trip! Fake Information: The driver details provided were not correct. The phone number was wrong, and the driver listed was actually in Amboseli National Park on another job for a different company! When I confronted Minneh, she casually sent another phone number and told me to call the driver and find where he was. There was no apology, no responsibility. Disrespectful Delays: Our guests were ready at 7:00 AM as instructed at Jocky Tours pick up location, Nairobi CBD, Biashara Street, Opposite Guardian Bank. The 7:30 AM departure didn't happen until 8:26 AM. Our guests sat there for an hour and a half, frustrated and ignored. The worst part of this experience was Minneh’s appalling behavior. On 19th January 2026 at 11:00 AM, when I called to seek clarification, she actually shouted at me over the phone. She also shouted at my tour consultant and refused to reply to our emails. When she did reply, her tone was dismissive, rude, and lacked any sense of business ethics. After 18 days since this disaster, I personally wrote an email to Minneh to express my disappointments and there has been no apology or even an acknowledgment of the mess they caused. If you want a stress-free safari, think twice before you book with Jocky Tours. Minneh's conduct is the worst I have seen in the industry. I am sad. I feel disregarded, Jocky Tours, proper communication is key in business. Provide information on time. Respect your B2B partners and respect our guests. Winnie Mbesa
