Food experience for the soul - On recent trip to Japan my wife and I were looking for a Japanese cooking class that differed from the commercial offers in the market. No sushi and Ramen which seems to be what the commercial websites offer. We found at Nara, the Hata Home Kitchen Cooking class. Yesu San and her husband Bill San welcomed us into their home and had the most wonderful cooking experience. Right from the start, Jesu San and Bill San made us feel welcomed in their cozy home. It was just the four of us. We made seven or more traditional dishes. After all the cooking, we got to sit down together and enjoy what we’d made. We had a great afternoon sharing the meal and sharing life experiences. If you want something authentic, relaxed, and delicious, definitely give this class a try. It is definitely worth it and I would repeat it with no doubt.
