Fabulous E-bike tour - My partner and I chose to do the E-bike Nara Highlights Todaiji, knives, deer and shrine tour in January. Jean-Yves was our wonderful guide. I highly recommended doing a tour like this, you get to go further on the bike than if you just walked it, so many beautiful places to see in the area. Being taken to the knife shop was a highlight, we bought a beautiful knife not only for day to day use but a nice memento as they inscribed our name on it. The deer are amazingly friendly, we got to feed them with the special biscuits and got a lick or two also! We thoroughly enjoyed the 3+ hours it took to ride around. Getting to and from the train station to the meeting point was also very easy.

Exploring Nara on e-bikes - 4 hour ebike tour around Nara was the perfect late morning/ early afternoon activity to see all the sights. Christoph was a friendly and knowledgeable guide and I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the temple, deer and check out some Japanese knives.

a time and foot saver. - Because of health and rain we had to cancel our bike tour on a Sunday, but Robert took us on a Monday. It was our first time on E bikes and Robert did a good job of showing us how to do them and making us feel very comfortable. We may have seen in three hours, but it would normally take people walking to do in six or eight anybody going to Kyoto and onto Nora should take advantage of this wonderful experience. After the tour even walked us back to the major shopping area, where we grabbed some dinner before returning to Kyoto on the train.

Unmissable Nara Ebike Tour - Brilliant ebike adventure for us and our two teenage boys. Was great seeing so much of Nara and learning from our guide Remi all about the history and culture of the sights. The bikes were comfortable and easy to use and the electric boost really helped on the uphills. We managed to avoid the crowds as much as possible. Helmets were provided free of charge, as well as a little sweet treat in the knife shop. Opportunity to buy personalised knives if desired but no pressure. Feeding the deer and watching them bow was a real highlight. Highly recommend as a break from all the walking.

Perfect way to navigate the crowds - This was a perfect way to experience Nara hitting all the major tourist spots without the hassle of figuring out how to get to each spot. Jerome, our tour guide, was full of information and he didn’t rush us. I loved his peaceful energy! Perfect for anyone wanting to take a break from having to walk miles to see the sites. It wasn’t too short or too long. The bike shop is like 3 blocks from the train station. I’d recommend this to anyone who’s visiting Nara and doesn’t have all day to spend there but would like to catch the major sites.

Best way to explore Nara! - We had a wonderful time on the e-bike tour! Chris was a welcoming and amiable guide, and he shared lots of interesting information throughout the tour. He was also very conscious of our safety and comfort on the bikes, and during rest breaks. We loved it! This was the best way to explore Nara Park.

What a great way to see... - What a great way to see Nara! We had the ability to see more of the park that would have been hard to do by walking. It was a nice mix of guided tour, where we learned about the history, and free time to explore the sights on our own. I highly recommend it!

Poor guide and wasted our time and money. - Unfortunately our guide was terrible and trip so unorganised it was dangerous at times. Jerome just spead ahead and left the group to fend/navigate for themselves.
