• Naples - We offer pick-up services at many hotels in the Naples area.
• Oasis Visitor Center - This is a fantastic spot to observe large alligators, turtles, fish, birds, and more! This stop provides an introduction to the ecosystems that form Big Cypress National Preserve (the western Everglades). Your knowledgeable naturalist guide will be delighted to help you identify all the wildlife species you encounter here!
• Kirby Storter Roadside Park - Walk with your expert naturalist guide from a prairie habitat to a gator hole in a cypress canopy dome forest. This cypress swamp ecosystem is truly captivating. There is always a chance to see various wildlife near the gator hole! On this dry trail, learn from your guide about the stunning flora of the region and what makes its biodiversity so remarkable.
• Everglades National Park - Enjoy a boat trip through the mysterious maze of the 10,000 mangrove islands, part of Everglades National Park. Your guide will point out the diverse birds and other animals. Keep an eye out for wild dolphins and manatees. Discover the intriguing history of the people who have inhabited this region for thousands of years.
• Big Cypress National Preserve - Discover the five different ecosystems of Big Cypress National Preserve on a scenic, narrated driving tour led by your experienced naturalist. Visit the Nathaniel Reed Visitor Center. Take a walk out back, with the opportunity to spot manatees! Collect your National Park and National Preserve stamps here, or any other souvenir you might like.
• Everglades City - Enjoy a scenic, narrated driving tour of this charming Old Florida town. With its rich history, colorful characters, and unique position as the ultimate frontier town of the true Glades, it’s a wonderful place to explore and visit!
• Smallwood Store - Step back in time when entering this preserved trading post, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Learn why the counters are angled outwards and how this place once served as a key trading hub between the Seminoles and the first non-Native settlers in the area. Look out into the 10,000 Islands from the balcony to appreciate its significant location in the region’s history.
• Chokoloskee - Embark on a 75-80 minute boat trip through the pristine 10,000 islands region of Everglades National Park. We are among the few select tour providers with permits to enter the actual national park. Our tours are led by highly knowledgeable guides who excel at spotting wildlife! This boat trip is co-led by our multi-generational boat captain/guides, who know the region intimately. This is your chance to possibly see dolphins jumping alongside the boat and to spot manatees! There is an incredible variety of birds amidst the bird rookeries we will pass by. We will likely have the opportunity to disembark and explore an island in this remote region.
