• Te Mata Peak - After a scenic drive through the beautiful Tukituki valley, you will climb to the top of Te Mata Peak where you will have approx 30 minutes to soak up the amazing 360-degree views. You are welcome to bring a blanket and something to drink while stopped on the peak.

Commencing from Napier, this picturesque journey navigates the shore before taking an inland route to follow the captivating Tukituki River, offering splendid vistas over the valley, the Havelock North hills, and up to Te Mata Peak.

Next, we cross the river, passing the Craggy Range winery, and venturing into Havelock North prior to beginning the thrilling 400m ascent to the Peak. You’ll be treated to impressive, all-encompassing views of Hawkes Bay, extending to the volcanic Ruapehu on a clear day!

Ascending a mountain on a V8 trike can make for an unforgettable experience, perfect for birthday celebrations or marking significant events.

We allot around 20 mins for a stay at the Peak before descending through the plantations and vineyards.

Given that Napier lacks a cruise passenger terminal, all passengers are asked to utilize the complimentary shuttles to the city. The National Aquarium, our cruise tour’s departure point, is the shuttle’s second stop.
