The instructor was extremely knowledgeable & that gave me a lot of confidence in what could have been a risky activity.
It was great. We thought Patrick was awesome and so knowledgeable.
I learned a lot and enjoyed the walk. Patrick was awesome. One note: the emails from ForageSF said to bring plastic bags, but Patrick frowns upon that! Paper bags only!
The hike was beautiful and I am very happy that I learned about mushrooms and was given a good spot to go mushroom hunting during the season. I knew this class was occurring at the end of the mushroom season, so I wasn't expecting to find much but it would have been nice to get a little more instruction on what to look for and where specifically to look. Overall, fantastic and would definitely do it again.
I left the foray with the ability to find and confidently pick edible mushrooms. The information regarding the trees that certain species grow under was a tremendous help.
Patrick was the perfect combination of competency, patience, and humor. We enjoyed the outing a lot and would recommend it to others.
