We loved hearing the story of how Ramini came about and loved seeing how it all functioned and especially seeing and meeting the water buffalos (George was my favorite!). We especially appreciate and admire the humane treatment of the animals. Our only minor complaint is that we thought the tour could have been done in a shorter amount of time, perhaps 3 hours. There seemed to be, for us, too much downtime. Otherwise, it was great and we wish you great success!
The story of Ramini Mozzaerlla is very compelling, the love for the animals is obvious, the tour was really fun and the cheese is delicious!
We absolutely loved every moment of our time at Ramini. Audrey is a great host, the information was very informative and fun to hear, We felt at home and appreciate her philosophy of being true to herself by taking care not to seek profit over conscience. We left feeling like the day was magical, our time with the water buffaloes is one memory we will never forget and the cheese is incredible. Thank you!
What a wonderful experience....getting up close and personal with water buffalo and meeting an amazing woman, Audrey, who has passion and love for these gentle giants.
Great visit! Audrey is remarkable and the water buffalo are stunningly gentle. Not appropriate for very young children.
I really enjoyed hearing about the personal history that seeded this farm....also appreciated information on the animals and the process of milking and making cheese....some misinformation communicated to the group in the question and answer session regarding the 5 precious parts of the Indian cow and whether they are consumed...further research would be wise..not only are they consumed but they are also incorporated into Ayurvedic Medicine and even Tibetan Medicine, and relied upon by many Indian folks...seems as if selling cheese to the visitors is a missed financial opportunity and means of "soft" advertising ...but perhaps focusing on milk production is the best way to make a living for a farm of this size in terms of both herd and people power.....
An amazing tour, facilities, and mozzarella with a passionate message and owner that genuinely cares about the process and treatment of her water buffalo!!! I can not recommend this enough!
Very unique authentic experience. I brought my family here and we had a blast. I've since recommended to many of my friends. I highly recommend this tour.
Best domestic Buffalo mozzarella that we've ever tasted! Thank you Audrey for a nice experience and best wishes for continued success.
A beautiful site and engaging tour. We had a really fun afternoon. Especially great was feeding milk to the baby water buffalo, and brushing and petting them. They are so mellow and friendly! Tasting was held outside at little picnic tables with a beautiful view... bring a picnic! Highly recommended. And the cheese is to die for. We bought a ton. BRING CASH. They aren't set up for credit cards yet. We had kids with us, and they loved it too!
Audrey is a witty and animated storyteller - she told us her story. I didn't get bored. I really admire her. She is a gutsy and courageous woman. The animals are unique and to be able to touch and brush the animals was nice.
Audrey it was very informative and I can't believe you are doing this by yourself. Great Mozzarella by the way.
