Horseback riding tour - We did the horseback riding tour up in the mountains to reach beautiful Lake Sonoma, and it was an amazing experience! The host was very friendly and personable, and we even enjoyed a glass of wine after the ride while chatting with the owner. Having only been horseback riding a few times, I was a bit anxious about going up the hills, but the horses were incredibly well trained and steady, which made the ride feel safe and enjoyable. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

An incredible experience!! - On a personal level, this was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! Nikki was an incredible host and guide - she taught us so much about how to ride, our horses and the area. It was just breathtaking and so enjoyable! I can’t wait to come back!

Awesome! - We did the 1 1/2 hour ride. Beautiful trail and views of the lake. The horses are well cared for which is my main concern. Our guide was experienced and professional.

Great Experience! - This was a nice ride with some awesome views. Mourgroup was small which was excellent. Nikki was very friendly and made the ride relaxing - asking questions and telling some of the history of her ranch. She gave reminders throughout the ride for those who may not have been on a horse in a while. We could have ridden longer looking at the beautiful views. We were a couple of friends and would have liked to have ridden closer together but understand there may be a need to have horses in a certain order for safety reasons. Overall we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Trip! - Great day, great horses and great pack leader all made for an enjoyable and interesting trip. The landscape and views were spectacular! It was worth the trip up from Napa!

Wonderful experience. We... - Wonderful experience. We are beginners and found the experience to be super fun and relaxing. The horses are super well behaved and our guide was great. Beautiful trails too, 10/10 experience.

Ride with The Ranch at Lake Sonoma - Views were amazing, horses were great! Highly recommend visting them and taking a ride out. As a horse owner, so nice to go ride other nicely trained horses!

Amazingggg experience - I planned our horse-back riding experience at The Ranch at Lake Sonoma for my sister's 20th birthday. Our Spanish-speaking guide Leonel was amazing. We were nervous at the beginning but he gave us lots of tips and as a tour guide was very kind and welcoming. The horses were beautiful! It was a fun and warm experience that left us wanting to return especially for a big occasion since they told us that they also host weddings and special occasions.
Fuemos para el cumpleaños de mi hermana. Nuestro guÃa, Leonel, fue increÃble. Al principio estábamos nerviosos, pero nos dio muchos consejos y, como guÃa turÃstico, fue muy amable y acogedor. ¡Los caballos eran preciosos! Fue una experiencia divertida y cálida que nos dejó con ganas de volver, especialmente para una ocasión importante, ya que nos dijeron que también organizan bodas y eventos especiales.
