- Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Depart from Nairobi at 6 am and drive to Nanyuki town, arriving at 9:30 am. Here, enjoy a stopover at the equator crossing, an imaginary line that divides the Earth into two hemispheres. A large sign marks the spot where you can take a photo, commemorating your equator crossing for 30 minutes. Afterward, continue to Ol Pejeta. Begin the first game drive, where you’ll have the opportunity to see chimpanzees and other wildlife on the northern side of the expansive conservancy. Arrive at Serena Sweetwaters Lodge by 12 pm. Here, observe animals visiting the watering hole in front of the lodge while capturing photos of the resident monkeys. Enjoy lunch (optional). Later, drive to the eastern side of the park to visit a blind rhino named Baraka and see the three Northern white rhinos roaming freely in their spacious enclosure. Finally, begin the journey back to Nairobi for drop-off.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes, and generate income through wildlife tourism and complementary enterprises for re-investment in conservation and community development. Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. It is the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, in a sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. You will encounter that it is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and home to the Big 5 and other great variety of wildlife which all makes for some spectacular game drive. Also is a home to the last two remaining northern white rhinos in the world. And that will make your tour memorable.
