Great day fishing - Wow. A phenomenal time was had by kids and parents alike. With kids eager for rod time we figured this would be a fun Nantucket activity. Right move to call Steve Tuna. He brought plenty of gear, joked that his tires were deflated "I did it in May", and expertly drove us over sand through the dunes. Fishing with kids in the era of instant fun on YouTube can be hit or miss. Steve has the effortless sunniness of a man who's raised his kids and feels joy at being on the beach every day. We trekked out to the most remote part of Massachusetts (Thanks, Steve), had a glorious day of sunshine (Steve can't take credit for that one, though), and used perfectly maintained equipment (Thanks, Steve). Unfortunately none of the kids managed to catch anything (can't really blame Steve for luck) but we all had a great time and learned quite a bit (which is all Steve).

Experience to remember! - Steve was very accommodating to my 17 year old son and I. Stopped at Wicked Bakery for coffee and breakfast sandwiches before heading out on our early trek. Great conversations and shared a lot of knowledge/experiences of the island, fishing and life. We used that insight to go fishing later that week too and to find the best sand which spots on the island. Great guide and better person!

Great day of fishing! - Steve was an amazing guide and mentor to our son and friends. He is very knowledgeable and kind. And the boys loved his stories!

A fun day of fishing from the Nantucket Shore! - Great day of fishing with our group! Steve was extremely knowledgeable and everyone (except 1) caught some fish - Steve was also very easy to work with and organize with as we planned the outing.

Fishing trip - We had a fun time fishing from the beach. The views were spectacular and even though the seals were hanging around trying to eat our bounty, we liked seeing them. Thank you Steve for a fun morning and bringing my flip flop to my doorstep that I left behind.

Above and beyond! - First, we caught Blue Fish! Second, Steve is great with kids and ours had a blast. Third, Steve was born on Nantucket, retired as a Nantucket cop, and is a great tour guide. Fourth, when we got back to our room, my husband realized he had lost his glasses. Steve drove back to the beach and found them in the surf! 5-Stars!

Great experience on Great Point - Steve is a fantastic guy in addition to being an excellent fishing guide! Highly recommend!!! He is enthusiastic, polite, funny, and takes an interest in making the fishing experience good for all involved.

Amazing Fishing Trip!! - Steve Tuna brought my 8 year old son Connor and I fishing on Great Point Beach during our recent Nantucket trip. Steve picked us up at our hotel downtown and drove us out to the beach. I was a little nervous about bringing Connor because he gets bored pretty easy and I was also worried he could not handle the bigger surf cast fishing rods easily. The very first cast we hooked into a bluefish! After casting for a while and having Connor help reel in the next few fish we hooked into, Steve broke out a smaller 7' fishing rod for Connor to try. After working with him on casting for a while, he was able to take right off and handle casting on his own. We caught several big bluefish over the course of 4 hours, fishing in a few different spots. The first blue that Connor caught all on his own was followed in by a brown shark and almost bitten in half! We saw the brown sharks a few more times after that. I can't recommend fishing with Steve Tuna enough. He was fun and informative, and growing up on the island he knows where the fish hang out. Not only was this trip the highlight of our Nantucket trip, this was the highlight of Connor's entire year and a trip he will never forget. Can't wait to book the next time we are visiting!

Fantastic fishing experience, great views, Steve as a fantastic guide. - This was best surfcasting experience ever. We caught fish and had a blast. Steve , our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. He told us all about Nantucket and the history of the island he grew up on.

Best fishing experience! - Steve was knowledgeable and a wonderful instructor. He was so patient and kind to our 12 year old and 9 year old. We were nervous that our 9 year old would lose interest, but Steve stuck with him, and by the end our son didn't want to leave! It was wonderful being on a different part of the island, and Steve was a fun guy to spend an afternoon with.
