It's not easy to work at high level. Please take care of yourself！ - I'm very happy to come to Nepal and get to know Padam and the porter. Padam is a very responsible and humorous guide. Although the porter doesn't talk much, he is very young, handsome,energetic and active. Even if ebc is tiring, the whole trip is very easy and interesting because of them. I think I will come to Nepal next time and come back to find them, because we are already friends！

So much more than Everest! - I enjoyed my Manaslu and Tsum Valley treks so much, that I booked another trek to Everest! With two days notice, Mani at The Great Adventure, Treks and Expeditions, had flights, guide, and a porter, ready for my Everest adventure. The same, wonderful guide, Santosh, that I had for Manaslu and Tsum Valley, met me in Lukla. Santosh provided the guidance and flexibility to allow me to meet the mountains, climb higher, and experience weather from rain to sun to snow. He found accommodations and activities that were perfect for this trek. Flexibility allowed me to change my mind, and include Everest Base Camp! My porter, Indra, was from this area and added information to my many questions. Not only did Santosh, provide for my safety, housing and food, but he went beyond and took pictures when the sun was too bright for me to see my screen, or my hands were too cold to use my camera! The pace was perfect, with plenty of time to explore, take pictures, and find my favorite mountain in Nepal. Everest was a challenge, Khumbu Glacier amazing in different light, but Ama Dablam took my breath away. If you want to be surrounded by mountains, follow glaciers and rivers, cross suspension bridges over roaring water, trek through diverse vegetation, as you ascend and descend into lush and beautiful valleys, trek in Sagarmatha National Park with The Great Adventures, Treks and Expeditions.

A local company who are amazing and really look after you - Mani was great from the start, he organised everything so well and was a lot less expensive than the bigger companies. My guide Padam was amazing. He collected me at the airport and made me feel so welcome. Anything I asked on the trek he sorted for me. We done the 7 day trek with helicopter back. Due to the weather we couldn’t get the helicopter but they made sure I got down the mountain to get my flight home. Mani also refunded my flights without question. Such a gentleman along with my guide. They made my experience amazing and you will not be disappointed if you choose this company. I’m a well experienced traveller and trekker and they’re the best I’ve used so far.

EBC in 9 days - What a trip! - My name is Raúl, and I’m from Ecuador. I found The Great Adventure Trek & Expedition online, and after reading several excellent reviews, I decided to contact Mr. Mani, the head of the agency. From the very beginning, Mr. Mani was extremely professional. We discussed my goals, expectations, and time constraints, and he quickly organized a customized schedule for my Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek based on my preferences. We agreed on a 7-day trekking experience with a helicopter return flight. When the day finally arrived, I landed in Kathmandu, where Mr. Mani and his driver were waiting for me at 1 a.m. It was a wonderful surprise to be welcomed with traditional flowers — a very thoughtful gesture that made me feel at home from the very first moment. The next morning, I was taken to the airport for my flight to Lukla. Unfortunately, due to poor weather conditions, all flights were canceled. However, Mr. Mani didn't give up — he managed to secure a seat for me on a shared helicopter. At that moment, I realized I was in very good hands. Once in Lukla, my trekking adventure officially began. I met my guide, Padam, and my porter, Sunil. I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how amazing these two were. They took care of every single detail — monitoring my pace, ensuring I was eating well, adjusting the plan as needed, and always keeping an eye on my comfort and safety. Beyond their professionalism, they are both passionate about what they do and simply wonderful people. Thanks to them, I had one of the best trips of my life. The trek itself was incredible. We maintained a perfect rhythm throughout, always following Padam's expert recommendations — resting when needed and pushing forward at the right moments. His planning made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The tea houses we stayed at were very comfortable, and thanks to Padang’s close friendships with many of the owners, we often received special treatment that made the trip even more memorable. After six days, I reached Everest Base Camp. We initially tried to arrange the helicopter return as planned, but due to weather conditions, it wasn’t possible. Instead, we decided to descend by foot, retracing our route. We managed to descend in just two days — it was physically challenging but absolutely rewarding. On the way down, I was blessed with spectacular weather, allowing me to capture breathtaking photos and views that I had missed during the ascent. Back in Kathmandu, Mr. Mani congratulated me for successfully completing the trek and handling the unexpected change of plans. He promptly refunded the full amount of the helicopter flight, and, as a kind gesture, even invited me to dinner to celebrate what had truly been one of the most unforgettable trips of my life. Everest Base Camp Trek and Marathon - Me and my friend booked our Everest Adventure through the Great Adventure Treks Company and we couldn't have had a better experience. We trekked up to Everest Base Camp to undertake the Everest Marathon, and throughout our time in Nepal we were fully supported by the Team at Great Adventure Treks. The owner of the company, Mani, was in constant contact with us, helping to arrange our trip and meet our needs. He ensured every aspect of our trip was catered for. He put us in contact with our Guide (Padam) and our Porter (Sunil), who accompanied us up to base camp. Padam was an excellent guide, who was knowable, understanding and caring throughout our trek. He ensured we were ready for the marathon and his knowledge of the area was truly amazing. Sunil has an excellent character. He was with us every step of the way, carrying out bags from Lukla all the way to base camp. He did all this with a constant smile on his face, ensuring our spirits remained high throughout the long trekking days. The Trek and Marathon were amazing events, and the majesty of the Himalayas can not be understated. Amazing Base Camp Trek and Marathon. - Me and my friend James organised our trip to Everest base camp and to run in the Everest Marathon through "The Great Adventures Company." The organisation has been fantastic and every question I had was answered by Mani. The trek to Everest base camp was led by our amazing guide Padam. Padam made sure we had everything we needed and was very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend him as a guide for your adventure. We also had a Sherpa called Sunil who we renamed the strong man, he carried our gear to base camp and back. He was incredibly polite and always had a smile on his face, he was also happy to help with anything we needed. We were very well looked after by these two amazing people. The trek was a fantastic experience, it is not easy but well worth it for the views, culture and great people of Nepal. Running the Marathon was the hardest event I have been part of but also an experience of a lifetime. Part of our reason for the trip was to raise money for the charity Lincs2Nepal which would not have been possible without Padam, Sunil, and the company owner Mani who made sure everything we needed from an organisation perspective and the logistics of the trip went very smoothly and was also flexible to change the schedule if needed.
