On the first day, visitors will explore Kenya’s oldest and still highly esteemed National Park, the renowned Nairobi National Park! This unique park offers an opportunity to encounter forest, grassland, terrestrial, and wetland species.
Day 2: Nairobi - Lake Naivasha
On the second day, the journey continues to Lake Naivasha, Kenya’s second-largest freshwater lake, which hosts a diverse range of fascinating species, with over 300 recorded! Guests will also enjoy a delightful boat ride on the lake to seek out elusive wetland species.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha
Species to look out for include Mosque Swallow, Lyne’s Cisticola, Chestnut Sparrow, Abyssinian Wheatear, Nyanza Swift, Mottled Swift, White-fronted Bee-eater, Mocking Cliff Chat, Bearded Woodpecker, Plain-backed Pipit, Giant Kingfisher, Grey-backed Fiscal, Grey-crested Helmet-Shrike, Brimstone Canary. Around 170 species of Kenya’s birds species are Palearctic migrants (11 species of them with a local breeding population too), mainly from Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Siberia. Another 60 species migrate regularly within the Afrotropics or from Madagascar. Some 335 species are found in forest; 230 species are entirely forest dependent.
