Nairobi to Hell’s Gate National Park to Lake Naivasha National Park
Hell’s Gate National Park - The safari driver guide will meet the operator at their Nairobi city hotel and drive northwest to Lake Nakuru. There will be a brief stop at a viewpoint to admire the Great Rift Valley from a high vantage point. Arrival at Hell’s Gate is expected around mid-morning, where a 2-hour biking tour within the park will commence. Alternatively, some may choose to drive, which is also permitted. The park has been a significant habitat for the rare lammergeyer vultures. From 11 am, there will be a 1-hour visit to the gorges. Around 12 pm, the bike will be returned at the gate, with a visit to the Maasai community along the way. Lunch is scheduled for 1 pm at Naivasha Fisherman’s Camp (at one’s own expense).
Lake Naivasha - Enjoy a relaxing boat ride starting at 2 pm for an additional fee. While on the boat, there will be an opportunity to view hippos and observe the Crescent Island teeming with wildlife.
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its giraffes and buffaloes. There will be sightings of numerous other animals such as zebras, antelopes, and more. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingos that give the lake a pink hue.
