- Hell’s Gate National Park - Begin the day with a morning pick-up at 7:00 am from your hotel or residence in the Nairobi area and set off for Hell’s Gate National Park, making stops at the picturesque Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive around 9:30 am and embark on a two-hour biking tour. Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s smaller national parks, which can be explored on foot. Enjoy a bicycle ride among gracefully grazing gazelles, larger antelopes, zebras, and giraffes for a truly delightful experience.
Proceed to Naivasha Marina Camp for lunch at 1:00 pm (at your own expense).
- Crescent Island Game Park - At 2:00 pm, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha to Crescent Island Sanctuary for a unique walk with wildlife. The sanctuary is home to giraffes, waterbucks, elands, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and hippos, among other wildlife you are likely to encounter at the conservancy. Bird species include fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, and many more.
Later, at 5:00 pm, depart for Nairobi. You will be dropped off at your hotel or residence.

Long day trip from Nairobi but worth it - Amazing experience and very different to a driving safari. Our guide for two days, David, took us on the long drive to Hells gate national park where we jumped on some bicycles and cruised 5 miles passing zebras and giraffes two name just two! The hike after the cycle was fun and insightful. Then the 5 miles back, be prepared if you are not used to cardio exercise.
Fun cruise around lake Naivasha but the icing on the cake was crescent island a walking safari not to be missed. And one of the highlights of our trip to see these animals so close up.

Totally worth it - My trip to Hell's gate and the lake was great. It started being collected by my driver Nuru, who is a really nice and fun guy. I got to learn so much about Kenya talking to him on the journey there. He is also a very safe driver which I appreciated.
Cycling through the Hell's gate park was really enjoyable, seeing the hyrax up close, the numerous animals close by. It's nice to experience being in a safari environment outside a vehicle - more authentic. My guide Gomez was a great and fun guy, and made the experience very enjoyable. The Lion King sites were very cool to see. Walking the gorge provided great photos.
Later the boat trip onto the lake and seeing the island from the movie Out of Africa was very interesting to witness.
Overall the day trip was very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Not to mention I had the best guides ever right off the start, David and Fredrick! - If you're in Kenya you should absolutely do this one!! This whole day was amazing! David and Fedrick were such amazing guides. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about Kenya, the animals, and the park. They also took more than an amazing care of me as a tourist! I really couldn't ask for a better experience. Talk about Kenyan welcome and kindness!👏🙌 I'm already looking forward to booking my next excursion!!🙌

Beautiful Scenery, Unforgettable Experience - Our family of four (parents and two kids) are greatly satisfied to have booked this trip. Jane Kale was our driver and main guide: her peaceful demeanor and insightful explanations made our trip pleasant. We were picked up timely in the morning at the hotel in Nairobi and dropped off safely at the end of the day; the scenery on the two-hour trip from Nairobi to Naivasha was magnificent (vast, expansive landscapes); our guide let us make a few stops on the way to take pictures and get souvenirs. The highlight of our trip was definitely the bike ride in Hell's Gate Park: absolutely beautiful and breathtaking mountains and rocks, and several animals (giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, etc.)! We enjoyed great food at the local restaurant recommended by Jane (do order a mixed grill, you'll enjoy it!). The boat trip was also nice: we got to see the "ugly five" on leaf-bare trees (movie-like scenery), hippos resting (much fun!), as well as giraffes, zebras, and other interesting sights on Crescent Island (I do wish the boats were bigger, but the canoes were safely driven to and back from the island). Overall, it was an unforgettable experience and we are grateful for the beauty of Kenya!

Memorable day trip - David our driver picked us right on time and also gave lots of information about Kenya on the way.
We loved the landscape of Hells gate and had a wondeful hike to gorge with our guide Innocent. Then we had a boat ride in Lake Naivasha and ended our day with walking safari on Crescent Island. We saw Giraffe, Zebra, Hippos and Ostrich. It was a very memorable day and definitely worth the visit.

Recommend - I definitely recommend visiting hells gate and crescent island. Being that close to nature was really a once in a lifetime experience. Meshack my driver was very nice, he gave me information about Nairobi and Kenyan culture. He also saw I was sleepy in the morning and stopped for coffee! I recommend bringing lots of snacks on this tour because I didn’t eat lunch until 3.30pm. This is because of the heavy rain so I went to crescent island before lunch in case the boats stopped to the island. There was confusion about what was included and I ended up paying $25 out of pocket at hells gate, but the tour company arranged a refund of that extra expense afterwards and were very professional.
